    After watching a number of your videos I am very impressed with your approach to developing a better golf swing. Now everytime I watch one I feel like I add to my understanding of the proper technique to build consistency in one's swing. The thought of feeling like the body rotation not the arms brings the club to the proper backswing plane is a good one. Thanks for making my swing better by using your instruction tips.

    Played today after two weeks of watching Porzak golf. I hit the better then ever. My ball striking was so good I was hitting it 10 yards farther. 🤦🏾‍♂️. Thanks Adam. 😂 No but seriously I’m going to have to go to a simulator and find out how far my ball is carrying. Thanks for all the videos.

    Love the wrist set topics. Left hand feelings are always great but no matter what my right wrist always wants to roll under a little in that takeaway and open up the face. Adams right wrist looks almost like a door just opening and closing in the set, would love to see him comment a little bit about blending right wrist feels for us right hand dominant rollers.

    • @PorzakGolf
      @PorzakGolf  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Well said! In the take away to the set position, you want to feel like you are shaking hands with the imaginary person behind you then at the top of the swing you want to feel like you are holding a tray. Do both of these with minimal tension and you will be set for the downswing!

  • @systemoptimizer3542

    I really like the concept of swinging the shaft on a plane that goes through the right forearm and elbow both back and through like you advocate. Sadly I have the tendency to be the opposite of your student going back, I tend to go under and deeper going back. It kind of looks like on the downswing your student might be swinging his hands out towards the ball on the downswing instead of down and under the shoulders. Would you agree? Jason Day used to have a swing like your student, and remodeled his swing like you advocate, and that may have been a big part of why he won again on tour.

    The take-away move (pressure down) makes so much sense. I struggle with being too steep. Let's see if this doesn't help me shallow the club better.

    Yes the big problem with the Hogan plane, as shown in his book is that he points it at the ball,which is why i could never get it.
    But know ive discovered AP! within a cpl of weeks ive had my lowest competition Gross rnds . 75 and 74! 3rd best to a wonder kids 65 and im 63yo!

    Please guide me on this
    1) how far the club has to travel in backswing before we apply the pressure on the butt of the club handle
    2) should the right wrist also hinge at the same time
    3) how to hinge or when to hinge in the longer clubs like wood and driver

    Question: on Takeaway, is it better to feel the left hand push down or right hand hinge? I've never tried left hand pushing down until today and it feels really good so wanted to verify.
    Btw, loving your videos because you're actually fixing a real person's swing rather than talking about theory 😂

    So if you lift your hands early, take them too far inside,could you theoretically cause a shank? Especially if you have an improper backswing but try to compensate by standing inside rhe ball on the downswing?

      I wondered if anyone else saw that. I understand that a straight left arm is one of the tenets of a good golf swing, but his looks as if it's actually hyperextended beyond straight. It must be great to be young and flexible like that!
