7:50 it is not called homologous chromosome. It is just 'one' chromosome formed by the two chromatids and both of these chromatids will be from same parent. These two chromatids are called sister chromatids. Homologous chromosome comes from the other parent. Alleles are alternative forms of gene which are formed by mutation.

Sir, if I am not Wrong, merge the thing, Alleles are partners of same gene, even you can say they are alternative form of gene, first you have to clear concept of homologous chromosomes, ( chromosomes which have same size and shape, it means they have genes for same character, such as color, height, etc. You have draw a chromosomes with sister chromatids, and you wrote alleles on that chromosomes, as we know that we received one gene from father and one gene from mother, both code for one character, mean color, color may b blue or brown for eyes.

Gamete have half number of chromosomes when both gamete fuse together it will get diploid number of chromosom in zygote
