My Tan Removal Routine | Dos and Don’ts of Treating Tan - Body and Face

  • I am back from my trip and needless to say, I’m back with a tan. I’m religious with my SPF but, some amount of tan is inevitable and normal.
A quick disclaimer, this video doesn’t promote skin lightening. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind a tan, that’s fine, feel free to scroll down but if you’d like to treat it, hope you find this helpful. Do SAVE this if you did and SHARE it with someone who’ll find this useful.
For me treating tan, is more about treating premature ageing, collagen loss than it is with the skin colour and these tips do help with the same.

Before my facial skin looked dull all the time, even upon waking. But following I conducted a bit of study and made some changes, my face began bright and glowing within a short span of weeks. Here is what I did: I ate a proper diet including items such as lentils, bread, green vegetables, and rice. This helped nourish my body from within. I used a face wash with the appropriate pH level and had black rice water. I chose the Litlextraa riceberrry face wash, and it worked wonders for my skin.
I formed it a regular practice to drink a minimum of 2 liters of water daily.
I exercised on a daily basis, this made me sweating and removed impurities out of my body.

This is my fourth time getting this facewash of rice berry Litle Exttra. The face wash is extremely refreshing, moisturising, lightweight, and cleansing the skin really well. Plus is free from chemicals. As for talking about the quantity, it's great for this price point, especially if you compare with other facial washes in the similar range. The texture may feel a bit slimy on the face when you first use it for the first few times, but then you become used to it. So, definitely, a must-try! Leaves your skin smooth and revitalised.

Everything is chemical in this world & every "natural" ingredient has a weird chemical name assigned to it. So we stop using them? Chemicals aren't necessarily bad & you don't have to buy the products she's advertising. Just see the list of active ingredients & use whatever suits your skin to treat the particular condition you're addressing. Not all natural things are good just because they had been advertised for a very long time. & most importantly, we all can do a quick Google search about the effectiveness of the ingredients she's mentioning to check if they're worth the claims.

All these products use micro- plastics and they go down the drain, to our rivers and oceans and are consumed by smaller fish who in turn are consumed by larger fish and gets accumulated in the food chain. It's not her problem that she can afford it and some of us can't and she is just showing us what works for her. I've read the entire paper, and its just a tiny point that says, IN SOME CASES, physical exfoliation MIGHT cause microtears and transepidermal water loss, and in SUCH CASES ONLY, physical exfoliation should be replaced with chemical. Otherwise physical exfoliation is always fine. And I believe not everyone is in need of chemical exfoliation. It only makes skin more susceptible to sun damage and hyperpigmentation. Kindly do not use very carefully authored scientific publications in your favor. I'm saying this as an author of a few microbiology research papers myself.

Ceramides for moisturizing basically a moisturizer because AHA and BHA make skin dry which is why they are not recommended to be used everyday

For arms and legs tan, best method you can do is wear fully covered clothes for some months. After you regain your original color or after your color evens out, you can try other methods like topical application. Also after that don't wear same design clothes daily, like if you wear same type of t shirt daily, you will get that shaped tan on arms and neck. So keep changing and wear different styled shirts with different sleeve lengths and for legs trousers, shorts and 3 4ths. This way you can get rid of what you feel permanently settled tan.
If you are talking about hands and feet. Try wearing only shoes for many months. Then after you get your original colour or evening out, don't use same design slippers daily, again you will get that shape kind tan, wear different types of footwares with different design, so that you won't get that shaped tan. For hands i don't know may be you can try gloves or apply something topically to remove tan.

Ya actually she recommended lactic acid and it is less acidic than lemon
Lemon is More acidic and can cause buring sensation it is really not good to use lemon on face

Acids and chemicals that were specifically manipulated for the skin, instead of things that are meant to be eaten. I don't see the problem in what she's saying
