Just did my 2001,and your right it's Tight but doable.
Shouldn't the crank seal be installed with the litle spring being on outside?
Yeah, I believe the spring should face whatever side the oil is on.
Hi can I ask why you needed to remove the clutch housing as well , cheers
The seal is behind the clutch basket
Your pants were already ripped, slick.
So after doing the seal did it fix the oil in the pipe problem? Mines doing it really bad and I just bought the bike
@@itsthecodygoodnight yep!
See if i took the top end off would the governor gear come out?
Is the bolt on the primary gear lefty loosey?
Yessir
Hey man when I do a leak down test thru the opening where the reeds attach I have air come out of my crank case breather tube
You should be applying your air pressure through the crankcase breather. Block off the exhaust, have your gauge adapter on in intake side, and piston at TDC
@legenderekfixes it was coming out the seal against the case of the breather tube not the actual hose but what sits against the case the flat part
