Wishing you the best of luck Jason. If this works I’m sure many people will be sharing this video so please don’t be too disheartened at this point. 🤗❤️
It’s amazing how you are documenting this all of this for the next generation! I really like your approach of only animal fats to fast. This could be the future of how we do metabolic therapy. Another issue with long term keto is physiological insulin resistance. Introducing some carbs prevents physiological insulin resistance. Insulin resistance with cancer is known to be extremely bad. Physiological insulin resistance happens when your body tissues start to forget how to process glucose, which causes elevated blood glucose levels, even in ketosis. We want to make sure our muscles and tissues remember how to eat the glucose, so there is less available for uptake by the tumors. This is one hypothesis why we can get better GKI by introducing some carbs occasionally. Keto brownie and a lot of the keto snacks mess me up too. I think it’s too much of the sugar alcohols, and our gut bacteria isn’t used to it.
Hey friend, your numbers are great for day one! I am wondering if you hav heard of Dr. Boz? She wrote a book titled “Any Way You Can” sharing the story of her Mom’s stage 4 colon cancer. She learned about the ketogenic diet and did it with her Mom. She has been the biggest proponent of the Keto Mojo and CGM.
@@jasonwatson6104 I think that book was my first intro into the keto diet. It switches between story and explanation, and it is one of the first books that I give away. I first listened to the audible (audiobook) version, which worked well for me
@@mariejones7136 you are right. I forgot. However, according to Thomas Seyfried metabolic therapy cutting off both glucose and glutamine will halt the growth of all types cancer.
Thank you very much. It was better than I expected! I believe it will be even better in two days, and it will still be very good tomorrow. Fasting from 3 to 4 GKI i usually drop bellow 2 GKI within 12 hours.
Yes, intermittent fasting has great benefits! To get significant cancer-fighting results instantly, try prolonged fasting for 14 to 21 days! I believe intermittent fasting will work over 3 to 6 months for cancer. However, I want results in 18 days!
Yeah, I used it for about 8 months. I switched to a new edible that I mentioned in my neuropathy video. I don't want to take too many edibles, but RSO was really good for me and I'll probably go back to it at some point. Right now, I'm just focused on treating my neuropathy.
@@jasonwatson6104 BMI depends on the units of measurement used: English system: BMI = weight (lb) / [height (in)]2 x 703 Metric system: BMI = weight (kg) / height (m)2 So your weight divided by your H2 (H2 = height times your height) then multiplied by either number - - "703" in English OR "2" in metric. This is determined by whether you use pounds or kilos. Peace.
@@jasonwatson6104 I have your BMI at 18.50 using the English method. Height 70' x70 =4900. Weight 129lbs - 129 divided by 4900 = 0.0263 -- take that number and multiply it by 703 and that = 18.48 Also thank you for everything and good luck.
Best GKI ive been was 0,58 IIRC. I believe blood sugar was 4,1 and ketones at 7,1. That was on a 3rd day of black coffee with MCT oil and butter only. Id like to get even lower ofcourse. It would be nice to stay always under 2,0 but its hard.
Yes, it's very hard. It fluctuates so much during the day, so depending on when you test, it also changes the outcome. Fasting is what i personally have to do to get bellow 2.
I had to order more ketone strips, I used my last one today. I had ketones of like 1.8 mmol/L this morning, which is not a good enough GKI. My weight is 137 lbs.
I really appreciate you giving units with your numbers, so many don't and my grasp of this stuff, being very limited, needs that sort on information. Best regards.
@@dogphlap6749 Thanks! Yeah, often it is unclear. I am getting used to converting the standard US glucose mg/dL into mmol/L by dividing by 20 (which is pretty easy) and then multiplying by 1.1 (also easy, and two digits matches the precision of the meter anyways). Dr. Boz came up with her own ratio that leaves the units unchanged, but I like Dr. Seyfried 's much better. Although I would be tempted to invert it (KGI) so that higher numbers are better.. except that would only add to the confusion
Hey, and really aggressively. Be careful with aspirin, you need to eat something before taking it or it could mess up your stomach. I just had an esophagectomy so I might skip the aspirin altogether. I might even aggressively take ivermectin with my fenbendazole. I'll do this three days a week. I'll take Methylene blue in the morning every day. And the rest of the supplements three times a day.
@@jasonwatson6104 70??? That's it? I understand for many, 70 is quite the feat, but I have heard a few people talk about press/pulse and they made it sound incredibly challenging.... I was assuming 55-65mg/dl....Thanks for the reply!!!
It is a major challenge. See my latest video. You must measure every meal 5 meals per day 2 to 1 fat to protien ratio. It very challenging but it can be done.
