It's pretty hilarious in hindsight that they got John Rhys-Davies to narrate this, considering how he would later go on to voice Aladdin's father in "King of Thieves". ;)
no, it's not a dumb idea at all, it's actually a good idea, because John Rhys Davis is from the middle east right, tell me in the comments if I'm right or wrong
This undoubtedly was one of my favorite Disney films growing up. John Rhys Davies also stars in another fantasy I love, as Gimli the dwarf in Lord of the Rings. The song A Whole New World has stayed in my heart ever since.
He would end up taking part in the third film "Aladdin and the King of Thieves" as the titular King of Thieves, Cassim, who is Aladdin's long lost father.
Marc Baker The good thing about hand drawn is that it never becomes dated. The problem with CG films is that eventually they start to look bad after a few years because better looking films will have come out by then.

I love Aladdin since I was 10 years old when it was out on tape, and I still have it on VHS tape. Brings me back memories looking at this, and the making of the movie. I also now have the new one from 2019, along with the animated one on Blu-Ray DVD. ❤️❤️❤️

This is the version of the behind the scenes of Aladdin that I recorded on a VHS tape along with Frosty the Snowman and an episode of The New adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Correct. I am going to download it and burn it to my DVD-R disc along with A Loud House Christmas and an episode of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
This movie never dies in the Disney franchise, because it's a cartoon which uses 2D animation to retell A Thousand and One Nights: A Collection of Tales of the Far East series of books by an unknown author. Voice acting rocks big time even though it's my dream job in real life.

I can see the resemblance now that you mentioned that. I wasn't around when they were in office but from what I've learned in my history classes and what my parents told me the Regans did a really bad job running our country. I honestly think both these characters are a lot like the people they were inspired by because like the Regans they didn't do a good job running Agrabah either.

Oh the narrator/presenter is so good.
He'd have made a fantastic Disney Villain (if he hasn't already!).
MacBeth in Gargoyles.
