    EASY CHILI
    Ingredients:
    1 pound ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    ½ cup chopped red peppers
    ½ cup chopped green pepper
    2 ½ tbsp chili powder
    2 cloves garlic minced
    1 bay leaf
    ½ tsp ground cumin
    4 tsp finely chopped jalapeno peppers
    5 tomatoes diced
    1 (23 oz) can tomato sauce
    1 (16 oz) can chili beans, undrained
    1 (16 0z) red kidney beans drained
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Directions:
    1. In a large saucepan over medium high heat, combine the ground beef, onion and bell peppers.
    2. Saute for about 5 minutes, or until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
    3. Add the chili powder, garlic, bay leaf, cumin, jalapeno pepper, tomatoes, tomato sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.
    4. Cover and simmer for 1 ½ hours, stirring occasionally.
    5. Stir in the beans and heat through
