The actor is just having the time of his life with this role.
He's amazing in Episodes and Arrested Development. Just a hilarious actor

Russ is a great judge of characters. Almost every time he made a judgement about someone, that was pretty accurate.
rclakmal I laughed so hard HAHAHAHAH

That line killed me. 🤣
I love how he dismisses Erlich’s existence

He started off as another rich douche you wanted to hate, but ended up evolving into one of the best written characters on the show.. to the point where you would get really excited when he randomly shows up. Every scene he appears in turns to gold.

Loved him instantly tbh. Hilarious character
except when he deleted code, tons of it
I think what instantly made him likable was his instant foresight into Donald getting so much action

He was dead on. Jared fucked more than anyone.
Russ Hanneman is actually a very human character. He became rich and obnoxious sure. But deep down you can see he's really reaching out and craving for people who just like him for him and not his money and can never seem to find it.

I have no idea why but it gets me every time
I like how he can tell Jared is the guy just by looking.
He actually had some incredibly intuitive ideas. His strategy and tactics were awful, and he was a boor (i.e. he was awesome), but his intuition was rarely wrong.
@Furyan Auror he read everyone's personality in a second and plowed into their fears
@@astroslap lol "plowed"
Takes one to know one.
The music they chose for Russ to play in his car is absolutely perfect for the character. Late 90's early 2000's jams. NOOKIE AND Butterfly had me dying...

Only took me a few minutes to find this comment.
Same here 😂
Papa roach - Last Resort too 😂
"If a doctor pulls a baby out of a pregnant woman, the doctor then doesn't get to keep the baby."
"Okay, first of all, my ex-wife is fucking the doctor who delivered my son, and they're suing for full custody, so you're wrong."
The writing on this show is spectacular. 🤣 I would watch 10 seasons of a show just about Russ Hanneman.
Probably the best cause there’s no counter argument
Russ Hanneman was the cameraman from The Office that saved Pam from the crazy guy in the parking lot.
You're welcome.
And Richard was Dwight's Brother and the The guy who fucks was Gabe Lewis in the office.
You're double welcome.
ibieiniid THAT’S WHO HE WAS!! I thought he looked familiar...
Edit: or rather I thought the camera guy looked familiar since I saw Silicon Valley first.
@@mickyw377 *sound guy.
You still have much to learn.
HOLY SHIT you're right! I KNEW I'd seen him somewhere before!
YEAH
Forgot how much Russ really added to the show. That scene where he's talking in front of the school is comedic gold
Fuck yes I wanna talk business 😂😂
I've disrupted fatherhood.
So insane 😆
The way he says tres commas every time is hilarious. Great actor.
“I’ve got 3 nanny’s suing me right now. One of them for no reason”
Russ seems loud and foolish, but somehow he always manaages to be absurdly good at reading people.
He noticed that Richard was dissatisfied with the direction of his company, his "this guy fucks!" comment regarding Jared, how Russ can somehow could tell Gilfoyle had a fucked up childhood before he had a chance to say anything, and how he was able to discern the unimportance of Bachman and completely ignored him.
There's some Gilfoyle's lines in the earlier seasons saying his mother backstabbed him, so Russ was right on this one too
Does that make Dinesh a member of Al Qaeda?
@@dliu948 Indoubtably.
He could also see Dinesh is a terroris.
Probably my favourite character from the whole show. A beautifully crafted persona who is the perfect satire of a rich, insecure, socially-unaware billionaire, but at the same time is humanised with his own dreams and desires too. And his fascination with 00's rock music is just perfect
“Don’t do what you should do, do what you want!”

No fucking way😂😂😂 that’s incredible
"hey, what's up Al-Quaeda" 🤣🤣🤣

Russ is a great judge of characters. Almost every time he made a judgement about someone, that was pretty accurate.
That's the only skill a good investor needs.
Including "THIS DUDE FUCKS!"
dinesh’s little boy smile when russ says “no beheadings” kills me everytime
I can't believe that Russ Hanneman only had 14 minutes and 28 seconds of screentime
@David Cat I believe he's making a joke, and trying to say every moment he has on screen, is the best of . Which is true. Best character, next to jian yang

Russ really was an incredible mentor for someone like Richard. The "don't do what you should do, do what you want" is genuinely a great pep talk.
Every scene with this guy is pure gold
By far the best character on any TV show currently.
tres commas
@TH-cam Customer Support NOPE!!! Three commas...

In spanish its Tres Comas only one M
Believe it or not, to this day I'm working with Russ's advice: "Don't do what you should do, do what you want"
"Careful please, he's gonna peel out" as Russ drives off with a squeal of burning rubber and Last Resort is their two characters summed up perfectly lmao
I have to point out the way he pronounces "Tres comas" is just flawless. That being said by a spanish native speaker.

- Yeah, I don't know what that means

He deserves a spin off. HBO PLEASE.

Say what you want. Russ could read people.
Russ and Gavin are the best things about the show.
"Tres commas, it's Spanish, you know what that means?"
-"Three co-"?
"Nope, it's three commas"
Amazing writing 😂
Russ and the carwash attorney were my two favorite characters on the show. They turned out to be the real ride-or-die homies who saved Pied Piper over and over.
2:24 Say what you want about Russ. He has a point here. "Don't do what should do. Do what you want."
Russ is actually a really supportive guy
I know someone probably said this already but Russ is very efficient in getting his point across.
What a killer performance and what a character. Amazing.
How Russ Hanneman never got his own spin off show is one of life's great mysteries.
He's better in small doses
This guy deserves his own show.
Russ: This is my own brand, tres commas. Know what that means in Spanish?
Richard: uh, three com-
Russ: nope, three commas
😂😂
I think some of these "best of" videos are just every clip of that character ever on the show.
Pretty much. The entire show is amazing.
Very astute observation.
No they missed the billboard one
@jo gr Meh, gotta disagree, The humor quality dropped a bit in the last few season, and the plot also became repetitive... Which is one of the reasons why Erlich's actor left the show.
Basically the best of Russ Hanneman is all of his appearances xD
One of the best characters on the show! I could watch these clips in a loop all day.
I feel bad everytime russ ignores Erlich :'(
Alex Spase me too lol, Erlich would’ve been a hilarious character to have played a billionaire too
Hahaha same
Not in a beautiful way like Grandpa and Pedro... OMG I died laughing.
2:44 and pause! These are the nuggets of gold that make this show so damn solid
12:40 gets me every time
Right?? 😂
This guy played Russ Hanneman so well that I just assumed Russ was a real person and they filmed him with some actors in the background
[14:06] I love the range of emotions Russ rapidly cycles through, from giddy to annoyed to disturbed.

One of my favorite characters in the show, but exactly the type of person I avoid like the plague in real life.
I love that this character is a cross between Mark Cuban, Ari Gold, and Dan Bilzerian and they use him to reference dumb stuff people do such as James Howells search for 8,000 bitcoin he accidentally threw away or a variety of things Mark Cuban is known for. Love this show!
Thanks for putting this up, man, went through some financial hardship and couldn't afford to stream this so this is gold.
