Jian Yang continued to be one of the best characters as the series progressed but it just wasn't the same without Ehrlich. Their dynamic was the best in the show. They hated each other but their scumbaggery united them so many times.
I was happy to see Erlich character go. Maybe for me its personal because his actual life is similar to Bachman's Jian Yang continued to be a foil even with him gone. It was a great series and wished there could be more of it.

Silicon Valley is such a fun drama especially for those who share similar experiences. Jian Yang makes this Asian role smoothly fit the show, love his performance with Erlich!
I tried to pull off the accent that Jimmy did in the show but just never can even though I speak both Cantonese and pekin mandarin 😅 the Jian Yang accent is very subtle because it’s not the lame, stereotypical one that you can easily make out or intimate by/with some specific traits, which actually made me wonder if it has anything to do with the so-called Chinese pidgin English. And the fact that Jimmy had effortlessly all the nuances contained while he’d already been speaking like a native for almost a decade, was impressive to me.
