I was at this show. AC/DC opened. ❤
Ace Frehley solo is fire!
Well, he is Ace!
It always has been!
@@batlevi2247Often copied since then but never equalled. #AceFrehley
@@mafiaperformanceWhenever Ace’s Love Gun solo starts on the 1977 record I always imagine panicked 1970s mothers rushing in and shutting off the record player and their 1970s punk or hippie daughter goes “Mmmmmooommmaaaaa noooooo!!!” Lol
It's the only part that's good.
70s KISS was special
Indeed
Nothing can top the original lineup of Kiss Gene Simmons Paul Stanley Ace Frehley and Peter Criss
AMEN or LIKEWISE!
Paul was a real machine in his prime here . He was a great lead singer in the 70’s . The band are top of their mark here . Ace is the man ! And just think people got to see Rush & Kiss on the same concert bill !!
He sounds awful
One of the goats
Agree 110%
The quality of this show is amazing
KISS KILLIN IT!
KISS In their PRIME! Killin it!
Best show you'll ever see. The concerts are electrifying.
I'm definitely showing my age. If you've ever attended a KISS concert, you'll leave feeling like "Dammit, my eyes and ears hurt. I'm at a hotel feeling reverberation and can still hear the concert." Yet still, I'm wondering if they have a second show.
@@CocolocasI never had the chance to see Alice Cooper. I like him...just never had the opportunity to go to a concert.
Queen, Rush, ACDC, Aerosmith, and KISS were the Best Groups to go see Live back in the 70s
You forgot Judas Priest 😛🤙
And Scorpions, the Uli Jon Roth days.
Goose bumps.....saw them many times....I wanna go back in time
I was there with my best friend Bobby Allen. His uncle took us there. Cherish those memories.
Peter could never resist an added shuffle beat when playing this live.
Anyone who says Peter wasn't a phenomenal drummer during his time is nuts.
Criss was/is a phenomenal jazz-rock drummer, but hard rock was not his core, jazz was. The reason Carr rocket-fuelled KISS was because Carr’s essence is hard-rock and his background also. Criss is not a worse drummer, just a worse fit, not a BAD fit, just not what KISS needed. When Carr emerged- well, let’s just say if the reunion tour had been Carr, Frehley, Stanley, Simmons in 1996 and 2000 versions of their original makeup, … it would have been more of an event than the Criss Frehley Stanley Simmons re-hash that did occur.
@@NicoCrippleExtremistMatsoukasAbsolutely disagree here. Criss was the exact fit they needed in 1973. Even Stanley and Simmons give that credit to PC. While Carr was always my favorite member of KISS, there would never have been a KISS the way we knew them without Criss’ swing, big band influenced drumming. Period. KISS became who they were bc of the chemistry among Stanley, Simmons, Criss and Frehley. My first live show was 1976 on the Destroyer Tour. PC was a beast from 73-77.. then deteriorated due to drugs. Carr was a monster on drums in a different way. Again, loved them all but saying PC wasn’t the “right fit” for KISS is like saying Bonzo wasn’t the right fit for Zeppelin.. ludicrous.
@@rdgSWwot alright alright you make an excellent point and i do defer to your view. I admit i am inaccurate in the ways you have described 😁
Agreed!Peter one of the Greats!Legend
I also agree with Eric Carr and these comments are solid
When KISS owned me
I remember stealing my dads kiss cds from his 1970 SS Camaro when I was a kid and when he found out I had it he took back his cds from me and bought me a box set of all the kiss songs… good days for sure I am now 29 still banging it
👍 *Sounds liKe an awesome DaD.!* 🍻
On my wishlist: a ‘70 Camaro SS. And I always had in mind I would only play ‘70’s rock while driving it. I mean, what else…?
@@MrFrontrow4 you’ll have one one day
this is fantastic. the audio is definitely enhanced. it didn't sound anywhere near this good before.
GREAT SONG CLASSIC PAUL STANLEY
I love this song and Kiss. I grew up with this band and it definitely influenced my music taste today 😳
Paul's vocals are just on fire be it live or on studio version mean heck he dig's deep in his soul
Ace forever!
This band, this lineup, was killer. Without Ace (and Criss for that matter) they were never the same.
KISS Rocks!! ⚡🙋
Saw them last Monday. They surely achieved such great things. Legacy is legit!
Greatest band in the world
Excellent
Love the love gun costume ❤ ⚡🖤💋
saw there final show dec 2 Madison square garden, kiss 4ever!
outstanding!!!
Ранние kiss это вещь!!!!
i like this video but chuckle at the idea of saying "love gun" like 50 times in front of a crowd
Great job camera guy, get those close ups of Paul singing instead of the flawless guitar solo. Nice job genius
You pull the trigger of my love gun .....
I found Paul to be a much better singer in 1997 than he was in 77.. His vocal performance in Detroit 97 blows this away . He had more upper range and could hit all the highs cleanly
Fantasztikus banda. Viva KISS!!!!!!!
The real deal
1:56 damn
La mejor versión ❤
I swr, My 1st instruction 2 men N make up! This is where it started. I was n Dogwood Flats, Alabama lol
Excellent 😁🤙
Why did Paul flip the camera off?
🙋⚡✨💯
My first concert was Kiss at Largo in 1979 on the Dynasty tour. I wish it had been at this tour. They are much better and the costumes don't look ridiculous.
❤❤❤❤Paul🎉🎉😂😂
AT MINUTE 2:20 AND TIL THE END IT WAS POKER OF ACES BEAT GUITAR 🎸
Paul was just hitting his vocal peak. He did things after the makeup came off that he couldn't do earlier. Even though I prefer makeup era KISS. His little vocal intro to Heaven's on Fire is a good example of his progression.
I'd say Castle Donington 88 was his peak 🤙
@@metalmadtom Yep. He kept that level for a few years, before his decline, which I hated to see, but we're all human.
❤ 🔫
That’s not the actual audio
Yes it is
first 😎
KISS has become a parody of themselves. This is the bomb, what they're doing now is a dud.
Show everything but Ace's solo... grrrr
I feel like Ace tends to get upstaged. Paul being elevated during Ace’s solo makes it seem like Paul’s the one playing it.
Could be lol. They were good together but also so toxic.
That’s why he left. The band was always Gene & Paul..
Are love guns protected by the second amendment ?
When real Demigods ran the table !
Creo que lo mejor de Kiss, musicalmente hablando, fueron Ace y Peter
