I had the same cancer as you, invasive Ductal carcinoma the second time I had cancer, yes I had cancer twice in six years. The second time was not a reoccurrence of the first cancer it was a new cancer in my other breast. My body could not handle the Chemo, I ended up in the hospital twice and the second time in ICU. I’m quite a bit older than you and my immune system was compromised so I’m sure you will be fine. The first time I had cancer the radiation damaged my heart which is permanent . I’m on five heart medications for the rest of my life including two blood thinners. When I had cancer the second time I had to come off the blood thinners because of possible severe bleeding. It scared me being off the blood thinners for nine days wondering what would happen to my heart. My heart did fine but I had to come off them again for a different condition and it always scares me. Being that I had two different cancers I’m now considered a high risk for cancer anywhere in my body which sucks. Enough about me, I will be praying for you that everything goes well , I will be following your journey, by the way I love the wig!!!!❤
Thank you 🥰 A lot more of my hair has fallen out since this video (it’s kind of patchy?!) so I have a lot of baldness going on right now but I still rock it. Might as well be comfortable right? Wigs are a lot of fun, too!! That’s the positive in this whole experience - you get to try on different looks & styles and have fun with it! 😊
Thank you love!! I try to embrace this wild journey with as much optimism and positivity as possible. It really helps me a lot (mentally & emotionally) 🥰🩷💪🏻🫶🏻 Of course not every day is perfect - some days are tough, especially being a mom & making sure my little girl is taken care of etc. - but I just take every day as they come. One day at a time!
Thank you so much 😊🙏🏻💕 You’re right, it will grow back one day. I will embrace all of the future hairstyles and lengths that it will go through and try to have fun with it (as much as I can) 🙃
Aww thank you so much!! I’m happy to be alive and since finding out that I have breast cancer I’ve never been more grateful for all the people & things in my life. I try my best to keep as positive of a mindset as possible. That’s half the battle right there! 😊💕 Thank you for your kind words and support & love! 🙏🏻🩷
Thanks for the vaseline in nose tip. I live in a very dry area and remember when we first moved here 30 years ago using Vaseline in our noses for the first year to avoid nosebleeds. Starting chemo next week so timely reminder for me. On the bright side no more shaving very hairy legs. Wishing you all the best.
Hi!! You’re welcome, it definitely helps battle the dryness! Also humidifiers help, too! And you’re right - not having to shave our legs is a nice perk! lol 💕 Good luck with chemo, you’re gonna do great! What chemo treatment plan will you be on?
How was your first taxol experience? I have one more AC round left then I switch over to Taxol (& I’m hoping I don’t have a reaction to it) I’m excited for you to get your wig! You’re doing great! We’re in this together - we are fighters. You got this 🥰🩷💪🏻
@@AFaeriesCancerJourney I meant I had my first AC treatment. I have three more to go then I switch over. I think you are ahead of me by a treatment or two. I just really appreciate finding someone who understands everything I’m going through at the same time. You are inspiring me to be strong. 💕

You looked gorgeous in the short hair before the shaving. But you actually looked stunning with no hair. Love the wig too

You had lovely hair but it will grow back just as lovely. You have pretty face and you are so postive.

Gorgeous! And the wig too!,,
my wife had me shave her head smooth for her cancer but never wore a wig loved being bald
Aww 💕 Well, I agree with your wife, being bald isn’t so bad - it’s quite liberating! And it saves a lot of time getting ready, too.
You are beautiful!
Looks beautiful on you
Thank you so much! 😊🙏🏻💕
I am walking this same path as you. Going for my wig next week. Had one tx. Not fun but feeling much better now. 14:19

I chose to go bald. Doesn't bother me. Men walk around bald all the time. My hubby and son are bald also.
