Hrithik's version of Vedha is more like the original 'Betal ' from 'Betal Pachchisi' a tale every Indian grow up listening or watching. The Core concept of original 'Vikram vedha' is inspired by 'Betal Pachchisi' also known as ' Vikram Betal' but the story was completely original. Sethupatis character was written with him in mind. But in Hindi Version Hrithik is more like ' Betal' a bit psycho

Korbin spot on in recognising Vijay Raaz's voice. But Vijay lends his voice for a lot of tv commercials and movies without really being in it
The tamil version was not this over the top with action scenes in tamil it was very grounded, you are saying it upside down, yeah please watch the original version vijay sethupathi worked on the vedha character by himself for the movie and made some great set of changes, those changes made that movie a memorable thing
The best thing about vikram vedha is, I have watched the real one and it's not that simple as it looks on trailer, people who are going to watch it for the first time would think that they know most of the story from trailer or they think know what's going to happen but guys literally get ready to be shocked with awesome surprises
So I kinda have watched the original and I feel it’s overhyped. It’s good but not amazing. I was expecting it to be filled with a lot of mysteries since it’s inspired by a folktale but nah it wasn’t as mysterious as I thought it would be. Just another gangster cop film with a bit of suspense

Ideally Hrithik should be playing Dev because he has that personality and that aura to carry the role moreover he is a far bigger star than Ranveer and also a very competent actor in intense dramatic roles. The man actually played an iconic role of Big B and managed to convince us with his performance which is not an easy thing to do.

The best thing about the remake is that Hrithik didn't try to copy Vijay Sethupathy because, let's be honest, VJS far exceeds Hrithik Roshan in the acting of the calm and menacing Vedha. Hrithik has portrayed Vedha in his own style which I really liked. Also, this is one of the few Indian movie trailers which is edited in a good way so that it doesn't give out everything and that's another thing for which I'd like to give the credit to the editor who's done a fantastic job 👍
Hrithik has already excelled in playing the calm n menacing gangster in Agneepath so why will he repeat the same, he competes only with himself
There is a reason Hrithik is such a huge star in India. You guys have known him just as an eye candy and have not explored his work. He is one of the few actors who always tries to choose different characters. This is not his first Grey character that he is playing. Agneepath is his best work in terms of a hero with Grey shade. After massive success of his first film, he chose to do Fiza. A totally unconventional role which no actor will choose after tasting so much success from the first film. He did Mission Kashmir, which again is an anti hero character. You may doubt him for his comic timing but you can't doubt him in intense roles. He is an absolute master in playing intense characters
Folks have been requesting these guys to review the original movie for a few yrs now. But they purposely didn’t do so , since the Hindi remake was announced with Hrithik almost immediately after the Tamil one’s success. They know that it will dilute their Hindi reaction if they have already done a Tamil one.

Another 'big' South film names Sye Ra Narsimha clashed with Hrithik's WAR, and it was a washout in Hindi belts. War still performed good in South for a Hindi film, and was biggest Indian grosser of 2019.
Both Vikram Vedha & PS1 will depend on their original regions to emerge victorious. Though, considering the budget and hype, Vikram Vedha will have upper hand mainly due to Hrithik and his new avatar.

Really!! Did you guys see the comparison of Vijay Sethupathi and Hirthik Roshan. Vijay really played his part so well . His character was calm but also dangerous. But when I saw pictures of Hirthik ....he looked like a joke. It's strange that you guys saw the tamil trailer and didn't say much but now very excited about this remake. Come on guys we had 2 strong talented men in the original and nothing can beat them.

This movie is made only in Hindi because the south indian version was made for all other languages. So this is made for the Hindi audience. And in the north definitely will do business more than PS 1 because the fan base of Hrithik is more massive than any actors or actresses in the PS1 movie

It's a 3way clash between three films. VIKRAM VEDHA vs PS-1 vs another big Telegu film starring Ravi Teja. I think if Vikram Vedha gets enough screen, It will surely be a blockbuster. Brahmastra got 9000 screens across India since it was solo release. No other big films are coming until 30th September. So it will get solo run till 30th. It will be interesting to watch how Vikram Vedha fares in Indian box-office since they are not releasing any south Indian language version for obvious reasons. Vikram Vedha will get around 3500 screens all-over India which is very less. Hence, I think only Hrithik's star power can save this film. Let's hope for the best. Cheers.
