And the people like who were skeptical and confused abt the film after watching this trailer are more whole lot positive than negative abt the movie. VFX is more good enough just give a good story and a nuanced approach to the film that's it. But it has more positive than negative.

There are five elements in Vedas they mention 3 here Agni (fire), Vaayu (Wind/Air), Jal (water) . Astra means weapon. Brahma-astra means the god of weapons. Brahmaastra is mentioned in ancient Indian literary works like Mahabharata. It is rarely used (actually once in the whole book but that's a whole other dimension). It basically is representation of a weapon of mass destruction.
Ranbir portrays weapon of fire (Agni) in the movie. They have anthromorphized the elements and weapons in the story.

Sony's shaktimaan is in the making. The immortal Aswathama of Vicky Kaushal is in the line. Indian cinema is on the verge of one giant leap. And we have a treasure trove of mythological stories and characters which can put any other superhero to shame..I really hope it's good.

Only ashvthama used this weapon at the end of Mahabharata , but shree krishna stopped it .

Not right now for sure. First let them do this properly. Mahabharat is too complex of a tale to do now. We need atleast 10-15 years before making that at a world class level.
It's unfair to make comparisons with the Scarlett witch as this film has been in the making since 2014 and conceptualized way earlier than that, while wanda and her powers came to full bloom only recently. It is as crazy as saying Dr. Strange and Shang Chi are the same as they eject yellow colored power.

You have to know atleast something about Hindu mythology.
1. The bull shown in the first scene was probably Shiva's vahana(pet/vehicle), Nandi.
2. The tailed ape-like being was probably Lord Hanuman, Shiva's avatar and protector of the good.
3. *Brahmastra* according to Hindu mythology is one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. No life can grow in the region where it has been denonated for 12 Brahma Years(1 Brahma Year= Billions of Earth years). Anything that grows after would be deformed or melted. Now tell me how is it not analogous to Atomic bombs?
4. *Brhmashirastra* is the most powerful weapon, capable to end existence of even Gods. It causes a series ot chain reactions which can annihilate whole Universe. Sage Agnivesa, Dada Parshuram and Karna- these 3 characters had the knowledge to invoke this weapon, which could be done with just a blade of grass. Not even a blade of grass can grow for 50 Brahma Years in the area where it strikes.
5. And who is Shiva?
He is everything that you see around. He has neither has begining, nor any end. He is as old as eternity and wise to the infinity. He is the first Yogi, the Adiyogi. He is beyond "Brahmand"(Universe). He was neither born, nor would he die. He burnt himself in his own body, he swallowed the venom of the universe. And beware of his third eye, you wouldn't want him to open that.
He is "Mahadev"(The supreme God).
