Truly amazing video. Better than my PT program BY FAR.
Went through 2 ACL surgeries before the age of 21. Today I am 4 months post-op finding this video and I'm glad I've been following almost everything you said ! whoever is reading this and is going through ACL recovery... it gets better never quit on rehab no matter the pain.
Thanks I’m 4 months too
How it happen
Sup man I just had my surgery 5 days ago im 24
Same knee ???
I also got pain at month 4, a bit scared of injury again due to keeping exercise when got pain.
As a Acl patient, I can say this is the best ACL recovery channel.
I wish all modern physicians were this in-depth with protocols. I’m 8 weeks post meniscus surgery and once my PT saw that I could walk somewhat normally at 6 weeks I was released. Granted ima a S&C coach, but I need guidance like regular people as well.
I appreciate the stuff you guys put out 💯
As a fellow PT doing social media, wow! Insane value in this video. This video gives more info than many PTs even have in their rehab toolbox. Great stuff!
So much work behind this 30 minutes video I can't thank you enough for sharing with us. Peace man!
This video single-handedly cured my anxiety. The PT I had was good but not great and I found myself stalling out. I was worried I was never going to get back into sport shape but this video has given me direction and motivation.
As someone who is learning to become a physiotherapist, this is awesome. To be able to receive such information, I am grateful.
Great video. Clear, concise and to the point. No jargon or BS exercises. This is precisely how i have progressed my own clients and their ACL rehab.
I'm almost emotional how much this is inspiring, I will be having ACL Reconstruction and was thing about the rehab and you gave a beautiful description.
I had ACL reconstruction surgery 11 months ago. I’m still doing loads of rehabilitation with my knee so I’m focusing on getting my quad muscles back. My knee gives way now and again and I’m doing good with the rehab. I still feel like I’m a long way to go till I’ve fully recovered.
This is AMAZING!!! Thank you for providing this organized review of the phases! Master work!
Professional, simple, precise, easy to understand, scientific, good mix of text, videos and pics, proper flow and progression makes this video the finest videos that I have referred so far...
I’m an AT/PT and now mostly teach at a university. This is a wonderful comprehensive approach. I will probably use this in my lectures. Well done.
This is an awesome video packed full of useful information. A month into recovery and I'm filled with hope. Thank you 🙏
For someone who is finding it very difficult to find a good physiotherapist this video is amazing. I have enough knowledge on the exercises that needs to be done but didn't have a template to plan my week. Your video is super helpful. Thank you E3 rehab. Can't wait to get back stronger
you could follow the MOON ACL REHAB guideline. I could email it to you if you want.
@@sirineaibeche3346 Please! send it to me!

thats the one we studied
Thank you for your video, very detail and exactly what I needed now after surgery.
Guys your contribution to physiotherapy is invaluable. Thank you so much for what you do and the effort you put on communicating our profession in the best way possible.
THE BEST ACL REHAB VIDEO! 🥺 so thankful that you've decided to do this.
Unreal video ! I'm being extremely determined to return to sport and this is the thorough information I've been looking for
Day 1 of rehab after ACL injury skiing. This vídeo is by far the most educational video I have seen on TH-cam. Thank you for taking the time to make it and share your knowledge. I am sure I will come back to it many times in my recovery journey.
I wish I found this video right when I got injured but better late than never! I am 4+ months post surgery and I definitely should focus more on the basics. I appreciate the reminder! This video is great!
From an acute care OT with a funky knee, I just wanna say thank you for the detailed explanation and examples of clear evidence for said protocols.
Thank you so much for posting so much high-quality information. This video is a blessing to my knee
I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredibly informative video. Your attention to detail and clear explanations have greatly enhanced my understanding of the topic. Thank you for generously sharing your knowledge, it's truly appreciated!
This is an amazing video with enormous amount of information put together very clearly. Thank you!
I cannot thank you all at E3 rehab enough for creating such phenomenal content and resources not just for patients but clinicians as well. I don't have to think twice before ever sharing or recommending your content to those who may benefit from it!
Thank you very much for such an informative video!
I underwent ACL surgery on 06-30-23. Going through all the basics with my physical therapist.
Thanks for such a great video!
I have suffered x 3 acl ruptures the guide and information given here is absolutely brilliant. I'm feeling motivated and ready to get to work. Thanks again and keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing video with us .. I went through 2 ACL surgery. This is the most helpful thing I have ever watched. I can't thank you enough ❤❤
Simply amazing guys!!! Thank you so much for creating such a comprehensive video!!
Thank you for the video, this will be very useful during my post-surgery ACL rehabilitation in combination with the program from my physio. It also benefited me to stop comparing my progress to others and to research iatrogenic nerve inhibition, since the nerves also represent a component in the healing process. I am trying to be patient before returning to alpinism, ski touring, wakeboarding, running, climbing ... Maybe this time even better since I will never stop strengthening my knees again. Really, thank you guys for everything. As a medical student and sports enthusiast, I admire your dedication to every video and all of the evidence behind them! Keep up the good work :)
Nice updated video on acl rehab great detail for different people's situations 👏
Best video ever of rehab . Very accurate and spefific . You are great 🙌
Just got my ACL + BTB done like a week ago, I'm so happy I saw this so that I can be realistic with my recovery goals
As a physio working /w ACL Rehab for many years I have to say this video gives a mostly valuable info !!CONGRATULATIONS AND THANKS FOR SHARING!
This is all overkill for simply running.
As a physical therapist, this is a great video. Learned several things myself. The best videos are videos that everyone can learn from which you do extremely well. Thanks!
I'm two months after surgery, doing rehab and feeling I didn't had enough information. I'm so happy to have found this video, very well explained and makes me much more secure about the basic exercises that i've been doing! Huge thanks!
Thanks for the video. Very informative. I am 8 weeks post ACL reconstruction
What a beautiful video it is. Thank you so much for giving all the necessary knowledge about how to over come ligament injury and follow post surgery program. I have been to best physiotherapist but I found your video is the best and provide complete information for recovery and strengthen your knee injury.
This is probably the best video I watched during my acl rehab. The most struggling thing I recognized is the planing and integration of different focuses - the periodization of strengthening and running in the mid stage.
My question is how does a typical week of training for an amateur athlete look like considering strengthening, plyometrics and running to prepare for the late stage?
Great form coach! Very educational! Especially the squats hand movement really worked for me. Didn’t hear cracking in my knees too.
this video is great im 12 months post acl surgery and it still helping
I have grade 1 ACL sprain and it’s been 4 months already. Seen around 3-4 physio in past 2 months but no one understood and explained recovery stages for ACL injury and exercise the way you have done. Until now each physi gave me exercises a bit harsh on my knee as a result swelling kept coming back on regular intervals and didn’t make any progress. Search so much on TH-cam and must say your video is the most comprehensive physio plan out there. Following your plan now and am optimistic about recovery now. Thank you
Thank you! This video was so helpful, and I learned a lot🎉🎉🎉
Excellent information, best I’ve come across and very much ties into my physio programming
I am working in a post-surgery facility in Montreal Canada, as a kinesiologist working with physiotherapists, I find this video very well explained, up-to-date ,very educative. This protocol for ACL knees also works for Knee replacement post-surgery and hip replacement post-surgery, Especially the early-stage exercise and at a certain level the mid-stage if we reduce the range of motion. I adapted those exercises because my patients are often in the 50-80-year-old range. Thanks a lot for that in-depth- video.
Irish dancer here awaiting ACL reconstruction in a few weeks. I am looking forward to be stronger after this year of rehabilitation, than before surgery! Thank you for the amazing work!
Perfectly described. Many many thanks for sharing this unbelievable valuable knowledge & experience with us 🙏👏❤️
Periodically rewatch this video. Very informative. Thank you!
This is amazing! Using it for my college research paper
Wow what a great video! I will refer back to it often. Thank you
Thank you so much for making this video, incredibly helpful.
Thank you soooooo much doctor,as a Physiotherapist the ACL Rehab program is really helpful for me..
This video is just great. It is super helpful and informative. Thank you so much!
Can't thank you enough for making such an amazing useful video.
This is an incredibly amazing video.
Thank you guys.
Great Job! You put a lot of work into that Video!
Wow thanks for this! Comes in really handy for my exams. Subscribed.
I saw thousands videos after injury, this is the best!!!!!
Very insightful was about to give up but this video has taught me a lot
Wow this video is just what I was looking for! Thank u so much!
Thank you for this video my legs have not been the same physically after my right ACL blowout in basketball. I’m 52 and have left hip arthritis as well. It’s tough to do any kind of workout because I can’t really squat or stretch my left side well due to my hip. I’m trying and I think I just found a great video to help
I am in week nr 7 after ACL reconstruction. But trust me it's this video guidance is much better than my physiotherapist. Glad to found this video. 👌👌👌
Just had a surgical ACL repair on 7/12 with PT upcoming. I'm 5 days post op and started gently incorporating your flexion and extension ROM videos into my days as I spend a lot of time sitting around in my brace. I stumbled on this video and love its simplicity and completeness. My degree is in Athletic Training and I wish I had your videos as adjunct learning in school. It's going to be a nice supplement to use with my PT going forward, thank you for putting your ACL series together.
How’re you coming along? I’m about to get acl repair soon
this is the best video ever it’s been helping so mich
As usual excelente, muchas gracias y felicitaciones
Thanks alot .. literally you sum up every inch
Outstanding information and timelines thank you so much
Thank you so muchh, This account really helped me rehab without PT
Now im 4 month post op
Love the video - thank you so much. I'm trying to conservatively manage my ACL tear (2 month old injury now, but I'm 45 years old and not exactly super-athletic). I have an excellent knee surgeon [friend of mine], and a brilliant sports physiotherapist. Ultimately I'm hoping to get back to martial arts, but also very keen to avoid surgery (I can walk now confidently without a brace, so it's definitely getting there). But it's nice to see where I hope to progress to in the next 2-3 months.
The highlight for me of this video though is your dog at 16:09 ! 😃
This is such a great video. I wish there was a video of
all level 1 progressions together so you don’t have to rewind or forward the video
Level 2 all together
Level 3 all together
Etc
Very useful detailed explanations as well. Everyone just wants to come back. Best to come back the right way.
Thank you so much for making this video
30 mins video!!! Great work.
Excellent Video.
Thank you for this.
I found this video insanely helpful 👏👏
This video is the best thing that happen to me on TH-cam
I came here to make sure I am rehabbing myself after a jiu jitsu injury to ACL and meniscus. Been four weeks and am realizing very little improvement and continuing pain. I am doing daily ROM and some resistance as pain allows. I’m going to follow your examples here. Trying to avoid surgery at the age of 58
Amazing video! Very informative! Thank you!
Amazing! You and KneeOverToes help save my ACL. After a month of incorporate your exercise into my training sessions, my legs even feel much stronger than before.
This is golden. Thank u so much
hey all, you have definitely the best channel when it comes to all themes regarding healthy body. do you have any MCL videos? I am not being able to find any... thank you.
Thank you for this excellent video!
Truly a savoir! Thank you very much. Appreciate everything you said.
7:06: option 1 for lunge could be a squat with a staggered stance (operated knee as the front leg and slowly use the operated knee in the back leg position to put more body weight. We can also use a step or box to decrease the body weight and it also helps gain knee flexion.
This Video is a blessing ❤
Well done and THANK YOU!!!
Thank you for all this information ⚽️
This is, by far, the best video I've seen for complete rehab from an ACL injury.
I've been struggling since 2006 with surgery on my left knee and watching this video made me realized I've never got past the early/start of mid-stage in my rehab process.
I just got out from another knee sprain lately and I will apply this program until I feel fully capable to answer the last 4 questions of the late stage.
Thank you very much for this amazing video. I'm up to get my last 17 years of struggling behind me.
Did you develop arthritis after the acl injury? How is you knee feeling?
@@starboiklem8381 Yeah I still have a swollen knee every time I play basketball but it lasts a day or two. Globally, my knee feels good but I have to do exercices to maintain strength on my quad and hamstring.
Excellent video, well done!
Hi, Your work is great, marvelous, can you kindly give us the weeks wise progression of the above program, in the program you haven't mentioned how many weeks every stage will last
Great video Thank you so much 🙏🏽❤️
Thanks doctor
Beautiful topic
Thank you! You're the best!!
This is amazing thank you, do you have and videos on meniscal repairs and ACL reconstruction during the 8 weeks post op?
I am currently 3 days out of simultaneous bilateral ACL revision (R) and reconstruction (L). Some of these tests seem almost unimaginable to me at this point. I can only hope that I can get back to solid plyometrics and back to sport in general. Thank you for creating such an informative video that explains not only what to do but also why.
7 months later and you made it💪
My reconstruction was January of last year, hope your recovery went smoothly
ow man this video is gold! I have just injured my knee but luckily it is not the acl, it is the meniscus... I have to re train my knee since it feels so tense and I am having trust issue...
Amazing content, thank you!
Dude you’re the best che thank for the information
This is an awesome video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge so eloquently. Much appreciate it!
