Very true I could of used it a month ago and save a lot of frustration. Probably wouldn’t use it again often, don’t know, but be super happy to have it lol
I bought one and I love it. I went to home depot and thought it was in stock but they didn't have it out yet on the shelf but when I saw it I bought it immediately and glad I did.
I have to admit. When i first saw this lastnight after work. I thought waaaaay over hyped. Im now in my garage working on a project and i Absolutely need this right now!!! 🤦🏿♂️u dont know until u know!
Thanks for the suggestion! I love my Dewalt 90 Degree standard attachment... it's saved my butt on many occasions... but this upgrade would make short work of many awkward situations without having to buy several other attachments that aren't as reliable!
I have the Dewalt previously released yellow colored version. No flex, no handle, no extension, with the magnet. I have 2 of them. I use special tools all the time. These new features will save you time. I will upgrade. Make sure you set aside a box, or a spot in your truck to store them. This is not a new idea, but Dewalt makes tough tools. It’s nice to see that these engineers were mechanics, first, and Dewalt backs them. If I don’t break them, I loose them. Thank you VCG Construction. Keep up the great work and for being so passionate about the topic. I like when you walk through the stores as well. Great play by play.
I picked this up this weekend. It was exactly what I needed. We replaced the cabinet doors and draw fronts in our kitchen. When replacing the drawer blank i front of the sink I had to get to screws between the blank and the sink. Glad I saw this review because the other right and gel attachment wouldn’t have worked. Thanks Vince!
I used a similar device to assemble IKEA kitchen cabinets two years ago. The final screw locations needed a flexible shaft driver holder. I would have mangled the job without it. Worth the money as I used it again last week on a cabinet sink cover plate.
I got one a few weeks ago and it helped me get some screws out up under a lazy Susan to replace the countertops it worked sweet whole reason I bought it

Bro! I went to replace my 6 year old 20 max impact drill this morning. I watched some of your videos and decided to upgraded to the xr impact. On my way out I seen this bad boy and scooped it up. Got home to watch a video on it and boom here's loud ass Vince to show me what's good. Lol. Just found you today and I'm joining the Vince crew on the tube. Keep it up bro.
Vince awesome demonstration, save the drama for the llama, lol, buying the flex tool today, you are very informative on you videos, be safe, thank you.
Another cool tool...I don't need it but...now that I know it exists, I'll probably need it a dozen times a week from now on. Thanks, Vince--time to sell some plasma!
I went from hating this guy to loving this guy in the span of 90 seconds. Once you get over his Billy Mays shouting and realize he's quite dynamic in his delivery I actually found him quite enjoyable to watch. Oh yeah, cool accessory too. Will prob check this out. Noice.
Great tool video we all ways need new gadgets to make our jobs easier, I’ve dropped many screws trying to get into a tight place, almost saying wrong words
The flex shaft idea has been out there for hand tools for quite a while. Just today I thought about this flexible shaft I have in a "Popular Mechanics" branded screw driver set I actually have and had for at least 20 years. Thought I had was "why not use it on power tools or make one for it?" And bam. Here it is...
love this guy, looks like Joey from Friends. I love the attachment, can’t wait to find it as I can’t seem to spell it correctly to type it into google.
idk if there is a difference but I picked up a yellow colored set from homedepot not to long ago and I used it just like u said no one would. there was a screw so close to the top of the wall that I didn't feel like using a small screw driver to get it out. a few days ago I saw lowes has the black one you just showed .
Bought a ryobi flex shaft that really struggles to bend to 90 degrees, but it can, and it was invaluable in taking components off and back on in tight spaces under the hood of my truck without having to resort to hand cranking socket wrenches. I want this though. This looks incredible. What im struggling with though is understanding why the twisting motion from one tool doesn't cause the same problems as the twisting motion from the other

As someone who abuses a 1/4” impact every day at work it will be interesting to see how long this survives. It will be very useful for putting reinforcement in crates where you can’t get the impact in. The problem will occur when trying to loosen nuts that are rusted in place.
I ahve the standard Dewalt we use them ina factory I’m the only one with the Dewalt everyone else has. The Milwaukee right angles and as soon as the Milwaukees get wet they lock up
great info. i am planning on using this on a normal combi drill and sounds like i need to make sure i dont go balls to the wall with the trigger. i will say, you don't need to scream constantly.
Can this be used with paddle bits and the impact driver? I dont necessarily like to use my impact driver to drill holes, but in certain situations it is necessary. Will this explode if used with paddle bits?
This seems very cool and I would probably buy it if I didn't already have a right angle attachment. But I only rarely use a right angle attachment and I have no memory of needing a flexible driver, but maybe. I was hoping to see some uses in the comments for a flex driver. I wondered if it would help when you're drilling the corner studs to get a wire through them if the exterior wall is in place.
