Hows it going man! Been a Chrysler dealership tech for 20 years now. I am actually an Amazon Affiliate. How do you test if a HID ballast is bad? My HID bulbs are flickering sometimes and now they will come on for about 5 minutes and both turn off. Someone told me it could also be the ballast.

Thanks Dave.....I dont remember which direction (clockwise or counter clockwise that lowers or adjusts. I just look at the light pattern on a wall to see the change and then adjust accordingly. Thanks for asking and for watching.
Hey brother, do you align the headlights after installation? My son has an 04 w/33’s and I need to align his headlights. Great video!
Yes sir.....after bolted back in place, then adjust. The location for adjusting on that year is in a different location. They should be around the front of the headlamp assembly. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe
I'm wanting to install some aftermarket off road lights for my JL but dont have the auxilliary switches. I believe I've found a way to run the switch through the firewall via a plastic cap in the driver's footwell but cant figure out to remove it. Could you take a look at yours?
The next time I have a chance I will try to remember to look at one on the lot to see where that is and what the options are. Thanks for watching!

Very helpful, Dave - thank you! First time Jeep owner, 2018 Sahara JLU 4 dr. One electrical problem after another (!) but I’m hoping everything is finally fixed and I’ve begun doing some mods. Watched this video cuz I’m trying to install clip-in headlight bezels, which the seller says are specifically for my Jeep and should simply clip into the factory grill. I can’t get them to fit - they’re slightly too big - so I thought if I removed the grill then I could take out the existing silver headlight bezels and clip in the new ones. Well, the existing bezels don’t seem to come out of the grill so I’m stumped. Any ideas? Thanks again for your videos - I learn everything Jeep-related from TH-cam! :)

@@wendyritch3419 I see your the one that left the bad review on their page lol. I have not tried that or attempted yet. I am curious but will have to see the next time one comes in to see whats possible. Otherwise you might be best to tape off the grille and just paint the rings that are on there as an option.

There is always that one! lol. I cant count the number of mad viewers that watch my headlamp assembly replacement videos that dont understand that its not about the bulb and about the housing that the bulb goes into. Guess they get confused when they read the title. For that reason I have to give certain warnings so that they understand ahead of time. Thanks for watching!
