I don’t get it. You are comparing Carl’s retail price against a trade value. WBAC have to sell it at auction to make their money and the dealer that buys it has to make theirs after prep and warranty costs. Ask Carl how much he makes on a £200k car and work back from there.
@@owenharrisonytAbout what? Your response makes no sense. The premise of the video is flawed as there is a significant price delta between private sales and retail. It’s the reason CAP exists.

Yes, if you sell it yourself, you will make more money, but the business will buy it off you so you don't have to sell it saving you time and effort, but they want to make money. However, in this case, they haven't updated the prices with selling trends, and seem to do just a simple decline formula. For me, the biggest problem with is selling older cars. That's a good shout. It's probably £4,995 retail value and it's not very desirable stock at this time of the year. I took a twenty year old car they quoted me £320 when I got there , guy says the alloys have some scratches and the tyres and the tyres are a little worn , £70 was the offer when I was there , I drove it to the scrap yard for £275
They also don’t like imports. Interestingly compared to other online services WBAC did actually offer a price. The others said no. Half as much as I sold it privately but still a price!
Interesting video would be buy a few low mileage old cars and see what they value them at. I can tell you after going to the classic car show at the NEC, a low mileage highly polished Jaguar X-Type was being sold at £10,000. Yes £10,000 for a Modeo with a Jaguar body.
You should see High Peak Autos vid when Matt took I think it was an Audi A4 to We buy ANY CAR and they valued it at £84. He then called his regular scrap metal firm who valued it over the phone at well over a hundred pounds to take it in and scrap it.

Love the videos Mark keep them coming buddy 😂 Quite a few years back I took my BMW X5 for a valuation a a branch in Ashford Kent and was quoted £15,000 online but after my visit to the branch they dropped it to £9000 as they used a paint depth device and said that because the rod pain wasn’t as deep as 1 of the doors it had had a respray, I asked him to check all doors and see if they were the same depth which they did and confirmed they were all the same depth and then they said apparently all the doors had been resprayed lol 😂 I said I do t think so but he was adamant had been been and said the drop in price was to respray the whole car lol even though the car was immaculate 🤷♂️ would never use them again after this as they are just a con!
I'm no a car expert. But are WBAC not buying it to sell on again? So there paying "trade" price. Or a price so as a company they can make a profit? Because that's why companies are started. To turn profit.
In the US we have Carmax which will buy your car on the spot. Most people will get more from Carmax than from a dealer as a trade-in. It's never what the car is worth because these companies need to make money. IMO its a fair trade for the convenience of not have to sell the car on your own.
Hi Mark great video i was offered £50,000 for my 12000 mile Chassis number 1 rare Aston Martin DB11 took it to a super car specialist and offered £80,000
Your videos are a lot of fun if you wanted any input more wife and more kids, those are my favorite. My wife and I love your channel and you’ve inspired us to buy supercars.
I'm retired at 27, went from Grass to Grace. This video here reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, honest wife, $35k biweekly and a good daughter full of love🤍🤍
I raised 75k and Christine Evelyn Mackie is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car o just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her.Christine Evelyn Mackie is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
Are there still folks that don't know about the digital markets space or haven't heard of Ms Christine Evelyn Mackie, words can't describe her importance to my family
It is possible that in these supercars they give a low valuation intentionally, because they do not work with this type of car, and since they cannot refuse, they make an unacceptable offer, and to prove my point take the G wagon as an example, I found it a great price, from what I understand Tom Hartley said how much the cars are worth, not the price he would pay, I would say that if he were to buy to resell he would offer a similar price.
I don't understand why people think WBAC is going to give you a good price. They largely, if not entirely, sell through auctions and want to make a profit. People who buy at auctions also want to make a profit. So the offer for anything will be below what they expect to get at auction and the worst price you will get.
I can’t believe it. Webiyanycar is actually offering less than what Carl would sell the cars for. And there is a massive asterisk on carls price for the SVJ
First valuation was about right I think? It’s common knowledge they offer like 65% of the actual value so if people decide to sell this route that’s there loss
Thanks for calling out this scam company. To those commenting here thay they need to spend money fixing up the car, no... The money they spend is like what most dealers avg, around 2k a car at max. But they give ridiculous low value when buying citing reasons that make it seem like they expect the car to be in showroom condition after 10 years on the road. When they have those small stalls im every corner they get stronger and with the volume can afford to buy cars even cheaper impacting those first ownera selling the car and dealers in the neighborhood. To top this all, those tin box are manned by incompetent, yet child like goons who can make you feel miserable. All together, a sham business at best.
But I think we know they give low prices cash in hand(OK in bank), but it's now. Did the other guy quoted market price for listing waiting and a good possibility of selling around that price, or did he also offered cash right now. Because if he is not buying on the estimated price on the moment, then one offer is basically what they will selling it for, the other offer is what they are buying it for right now. I am sure tom doesn't have that much profit between buy and sell prices on the SVJ and Revuelto, but on the G Wagon it must be close, and consider people sell lower tier cars there, maybe it's not that bad for some cars, some cases, need casht urgently. CarMax may be worse in US, considering those are left hand drive cars in the US market.
Judging by the g wagon, carls going to retail at 125 and no doubt accept 120, he’s going to want approximately 10% so he’s going to give you 108-112k meaning we by any car are paying between 7-11k more than Tom Hartley cars
It’s not only we buy any car 2 vertu Land Rover dealers in the north west with 15 miles of each other who both use the same system to value vehicles 2.5k difference
Judging, we buy any car, or any business as “sexist” by testing their 9-5 workers. Doesn’t reflex the business, just more the individual you’re dealing with.
if i can manage half of your outlook to life and how you carry on. irrespective of wealth and all, i will be fine. Dont ever loose your spirit Mark. You inspire a lot of people.

I'm retired at 27, went from Grass to Grace. This video here reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, honest wife, $35k biweekly and a good daughter full of love🤍🤍
I'm highly inspired.
Please spill some sugar about the bi-weekly stuff you mentioned.
What do you do? How did you come about such figures in that period ?
It's the digital markets that's been the secret of this wealth transfer,,,,thank you Jesus..
Mate, you are the Alan Partridge of the Auto space on TH-cam- I love it 😂❤

I don't understand why people think WBAC is going to give you a good price. They largely, if not entirely, sell through auctions and want to make a profit. People who buy at auctions also want to make a profit. So the offer for anything will be below what they expect to get at auction and the worst price you will get.
Great video mate. Hope you keep churning out great content. 🔥
Mark, I was crying at the E-mail addresses ! LOL
I can’t believe it. Webiyanycar is actually offering less than what Carl would sell the cars for. And there is a massive asterisk on carls price for the SVJ
Love the sister plate on svj rear, sitting on tow bar👏🏼
It is crazy to hear an expert say the "highest mileage" svj with 13k miles. My poor person brain can't comprehend that being high.
24:34 Omg Mark went to the West Bromwich branch near to where I live
New ad collab:
"We buy any car, but not McCann."
We buy any car should offer you a price of at least 1 million dollars! for both lamborghinis
I sold them a pick up truck for 40% more than a dealer trade price very happy with the service but they do bid trade price should be 20-25% under list
I have just tried to trade your G wagon in it. We buy any car and it did actually go through on the app.
Anyone with an honest supercar isn't going to WBAC . . . They ought to be auto-forwarding anything like this to the police.
if i can manage half of your outlook to life and how you carry on. irrespective of wealth and all, i will be fine. Dont ever loose your spirit Mark. You inspire a lot of people.
