Well Matt, I do agree with you, it's time to let a few of them go. For content I completely agree you need multiple brands/configurations, but storage, insurance, etc. must suck. It's like your an ambassador for Poo and Doo without the perks, and in their corporate minds you can't ride both, I understand that, that's what makes your channel relatable/special to most of us mountain guys (as if you didn't know that). Maybe time to do a giveaway like other channels, points for merch purchases and you give a lucky winner a sled and day on the hill. Congrats on your success, you worked for it, took the risk and deserve it. Now don't get lazy, get back on the mountain and find some snow for us, lol!
Yeah the issuance is a kick in the nuts and I don’t have anywhere to store these yet so that could be a problem. I should be saving money to buy a house here instead haha I’ve wanted to do the sled giveaway for a long time it’s just the legality of doing it here in Canada is difficult
That's a nice set of sleds. We all have some sort of expensive hobbies... can't put a price tag on something that you really enjoy doing. An 858 Cat added in would be the cherry on top; be known as the guy that can't be and refuses to be bias.
Feel like the lineup needs one modded turbo 4-stroke, an old crank shop modded triple mountain sled (they made a 1500cc for a while), and an Elan 250 single. Looking forward to seeing the RS in the mountains.
You make me feel like I don’t have a problem cause I only have 3 in my collection 😅 Looking like we’re in for a good week of snow in the mountains here! Getting off work at the perfect time to take advantage 🤘🏾🤘🏾
Well, Thank You too. With a busy life, and this year's lack of snow, your videos are pretty much the only riding I have gotten.... 5 miles of low snow use as transportation to the cabin and back, gas guage still at 90% on last years gas.
That's a nice variety of sleds, glad to see you still have the crown Jewel, that was one of your better videos watching you guys ride that sled, lots of laughs. It's fun to see the difference in capabilities in all the sleds.
I'm 16 and I have a 74 ski doo tnt, a 2007 Yamaha phazer mtx and just this year picked up a 2010 summit 800 that i may or may not have blown up on the first ride. Once you have one sled you want them all
Just hope that Alpha rail holds up... especially in low snow conditions like this it probably isn't good. Don't know why they completely ditched teh twin rail, but i'm sure some aftermarket kits would be easy to install
Put 90mm raiser on that Lynx. My suspension setup for that stock chassic is to change the front springs a little bit stiffer (personal preference) about 22-24nm. Stock shim is ok but way too slow on fast riding and big bumps and you have to play with the rebound clickers to set it right. Comp and spring preload is ok. But again this is a personal preference. Chassic (middle and rear) suspension is ok too but you have to increase that rear spring preload a bit. Otherwise it will bottom too early. Factory setting is about ~75kg fellow with riding gears on. And shocks (both) needs different shimming than factory. But finally you will get a very good and easy handling sled when everything is right for you because the factory setup is allways a compromise of something. Chassic geometry on that pps2 ds (deep snow) is fantastic and the shock package is very good (best i would say) also when tuned properly. Change the skis if you like that Ski-doo skis is a better choice for you. If you want better than a stock suspension just put Öhlins or Fox. But i will say that there is no need for that🔥🔥 greetings from Finland and very best spring rides in there🇫🇮🇫🇮
I love it when we can talk about our issues like this! LOL! Seriously I personally love your content and your videos just keep getting better each year.
very happy for you, living your dream. you should be selling most of them and keep like a 155 and 165 turbo, because you do mostly deep snow in REVY. 9R ok for more normal days.1 of each brand and yes saving to buy a house is a great idea. keep up the good job and awesome videos. will you be back in REVY this winter or down south Montana or else there ? have fun with your familly and friends
I agree, the 858 Catalyst has to be in this collection. The 600’s were banging in the mountains. From I can see the 858 is going to make the 9R obsolete. Aftermarket turbo is already online, if you need it.
When I saw the 2000 summit my eyes lit up. I currently own a near mint sled just like it with reverse. Have some fixing up to do but with a year like we've had in maine, we're going to have to wait until next year
Great to see the fleet. Hard to sell when they all are great rides. Can you go over the full Trail Tech set up you have like you did with the 360 camera. How it works & what needs to be ordered extra. Running a 22 Lynx & my buddies are all on Doo.
I live right around the corner from you but one night I drove by and was like holy shit this dude has got a crazy collection and then noticed they were your sleds
Thank for all the awesome content you put out, especially this year with no snow. I’ve always wanted to get out to the mountains but have never had the chance so until then i imagine what it’s like through your videos. Maybe I’ve missed it this year but in past years I remember you guys bombing up gnarly drainages, taking run after run to try to get up. Super entertaining and my favorite stuff to watch. Also love the sled collection. What a dream!
There hasn’t been much of that this year just with the crappy low snow conditions. The drainages need a lot of snow to fill in the holes to actually make them rideable
Awesome collection, love the channel, content. Honestly living the dream man, hats off to you, takes time, money, effort, and skills to follow your dreams to the max!!!
The RS is my favorite sled. Those are bomb proof. Needs clutching for it tho unless you are racing or ramps. A guy in Ontario makes 91 "conversion" for it.
hey, hope you guys are having a blast living life to the fullest. I and we all live in Dorset, Ontario and we have three grandsons that are obsessed with al your videos, and would Realy love to me you gentlemen in person, to buy some murch. with some selfies, PLEASE!!!!
Was waiting for this video matt, you truly have found your passion,an seeing your success in the industry! An you can see it!I'll always be watching your amazing videos! You should definitely do some performance upgrades to the khaos or 9R!
This was very good video. Honest opinions (yours) of each sled. Video could be a little longer (15-20min?) and deep analyzing of each pros and cons compared to each other.
Be awesome to see you build a ski doo 900 turbo R for the mountains, take a lynx x-Terrain tune it up and put a 165 on it. That would be very interesting
Problem is the value of those sleds is 50% of when you bought them. This year is a fire sale, they got 2024 9r's for $16k in edmonton right now. Cool collection though!
I have promised myself that I will do this as well in the future. I actually managed to lose money investing in real estate, and before that, stocks, I have no talent for investment. Instead of losing money on that, why not make myself more happy with tons of snowmobiles?
That’s not an obsession. That’s just a collection you need to flip every year. When you start collecting older 440’s and fill up a seacan of just race sleds, then you it yourself an obsession. 😜
Dude all your sleds are pretty much the same sled specs wise haha its definitely an obsession! Wicked collection anyways, should totally have a Sidewinder though😅😅
I wonder if putting a 34" front end on the lynx would help it feel a bit lighter also you probably already know this but revived out there in revy sells avid drivers and could install them for you to fix the ratcheting on your 23 doos
With the clutch temps and belt life, have you ever tried a clutch kit. In the past I’ve had good success with running an I backshift kit for the old 800 belt life. Just curious about your experience. I have just picked up a gen 5 146 non turbo deciding if I should attempt adding a kit like I have in the past.
Love the content and sledding is my passion but it’s sad that every one of your sleds have more miles than mine and I’ve owned mine for three years haha we just don’t get the snow to use it without a lot of travel
Im looking to buy a sled for next season. What is your recommendation? I have a '15 pro rmk 155 now and I just rode a summit x turbo 154 and absolutely loved it.
Matt, I remember seeing in your video you did when you put the wrap on your Polaris. There was a brand new Polaris in the background, is that what the surprise is?

An 858 would look good in there…
🤔
Guessing there already is 😅

Just waiting for the video where he announces this. He hinted at telling us what he ordered from cat.
Maybe a 858 would be a good add to the collection.
he said he ordered something from cat at the end of the last video

Keep up the great content Matt! Been living vicariously through your videos this year. My sleds haven’t left the trailer all year here in minnesota.🤦🏻
Heard it’s been a brutal year down there. Hopefully you at least get something before it’s over
Nothing in south dakota either, I feel you.
I’d love too see an 858 cat added too the collection

No plan to sell the crown jewel! It was fun for 1 days but it’s not capable in the mountain haha
@@MuskokaFreerider Agreed. Horsepower, suspension, traction, top of the mountain = good time and makes for good videos.
