Great video, thanks. I just have some important corrections to point out.
    1. The first step of removing the stand cover @0:16 you are prying from the wrong edge and will snap the little plastic hooks. The clips are on the other edge, that has no gap.
    2. @1:10 Do not pry from the screen edge! That is where the board for the screen is, also the clips are quite some distance from the edge, and bigger than the other side. You do not want to puncture anything in there. Pry from the outer edge where the clips are smaller and nice and close, easy to pop out.

Tip: Always take your time, use the right tools and make sure you understand the procedure. Watch other videos to gain another perspective if needed

When pressing the screen clips in place BE GENTLE. I replaced RAM in six of these for an office today, and a few tips that I can give: support the back of the casing while pushing in the clips for the LCD panel, know exactly where the clips are for it and if it feels like you’re pushing too hard move on to another clip, they DO snap back in place pretty easily if you take your time with it. Also, there may be a metal cover over your RAM, which comes off with two screws and a gentle tug. That’s not shown in the video. Lastly, if you’re doing anything simple like replacing ram you do NOT need to mess with the ribbon cables for the LCD panel. Often times they are very fragile and if you don’t need to touch them then stay away from them. This is an easy all in one to service, so take your time, be gentle, and use it as a learning experience. The clips sound like you’re breaking everything apart when unclipping them but I assure you are not.

I am really Pi**ed about this!
I realize I may not be thinking clearly and
    am looking for any suggestions.
I have done bios updates so many times and have had maybe one failure in 20+ years.
I've done hundreds if not thousands of them.
    I know what I'm doing.
I make sure the system is healthy and I make sure it's on battery backup power and I WAIT until the update is truly finished.
    Sometimes they take awhile.
And I almost ALWAYS have a backup of the bios and a way
to flash it back before I do an update.
This time my customer let Windows update update the bios,
It asked and I say go ahead. after making sure it was on a good battery backup.
    Everything proceeded as normal.
The BIOS actually flashed properly witout error.
Is was not a mismatch per the bios update software onboard.
However I now have nearly a brick.
there is a loader there that gives me video and says the bios flash failed and it reboots over & over.
I need try clearing the CMOS yet, I am pretty sure that will not fix anything. and it's nearly impossible to open up without breaking the plastic. it is designed not to be serviced and is worse than normal.. I have opened many all-in-ones.
This one is extra special and I'm probably going to break it trying.
The HP forum is useless and terrible.
And HP does not give you any kind of support or way to deal with this at all when it is one week out of warranty like it is.
No parts, nobody to call nobody to chat with no nothing.
$500 computer 1 week out of warranty.
Also NO drivers or bios images can be downloaded for this HP all-in-one.
This is absolute total crap at it's crappiest.
This is a brand new customer, they are of course upset that I tol them it should be ok to let Windows do all of the updates in the "advanced section" where they update hardware drivers and the BIOS.
I could lose the customer or have to foot the bill for a replacement computer II expect to keep them after this.
This was my day to make a good first impression and is why I am so upset.

A good video. However, the design of the new all-in-one Desktop makes it easy to damage the screen. Most of the internal components could have been assembled behind the screen for easy replacement. The back panel should be easy to remove without any damage to the screen. The removal of the screen is prone to accidental damage.

Thank you very much! Still there's one thing I don't get. I want to upgrade my HP 27-dp0082nl, currently I've got 2 DDR4 SO-DIMMs, 4gb each. On the HP support page it's written that my 87A4 10100 motherboard supports up to 32 gb of RAM 2 x16 gb DIMM, but HP assistant and f.e. the partner of HP, Crucial, states that I should take 2 SO-DIMMs 16 gb each. Thank you @HPSupport Yeah, but that's exactly what I can't understand, it states that motherboard has 2 SODIMM sockets but at the same time it's written that it supports 2 x 16 gb DIMM. I thought it was a mistake. As far as I know, SODIMM are smaller sockets so if I buy 2x 16 gb DIMM I'll have to throw it away. Maybe motherboard has both SODIMM and DIMM sockets, but I'm not aware of it.

    Hi,
I have a question about this aio. I just bought one, and I'm not sure if it works well or is some sort of damage in there. I constantly hear a sound, a noise from the processor (I believe) like a mosquito which goes up and down, which is also extremely annoying if I don't play some music. I'm not reffering to the sound when the computer is overloaded. It's a sound that is always there, in the background. Should this computer be quiet, silent or is it normal to hear that mosquito sound in the background?

@@HPSupport I know you are automated but will humor you - I have owned a computer store since 2002 and by far HP's are the most difficult machines to repair and have been for years. I can take apart a Dell or Acer and replace the screen in 50 minutes, but when a customer calls with an HP I know it will be a 3 hour job. Have you ever even used that cursed HP tool for reconfiguring a system after a motherboard replacement? At least 7 or 8 reboots, with a 5 minute boot time between each one. To do what? The motherboard is already in there!!! That's at least 35 or 40 minutes of wasted time while your tool reboots itself. On a Dell or other system, their tools finish in about 3 to 5 minutes and done...

Hi there, thanks for contacting HP Global Social Media Support!
I understand that you need to know about removing SSD without losing data.
I will do my best to assist you.
Basically, what you have to do is the following:
      1) Connect the new SSD to the PC using an adapter cable -- so you will have to search online to buy a USB-to-SSD cable and the model you need depends on the type of SSD you will be connecting.
      2) CLONE the existing drive to the SSD -- this can be done using the software and details presented below
      3) Turn off the PC and swap SSDs.
      4) When you then turn your PC back on, it should boot without issues.
      5) Since the new SSD will have the old partitions on it, you will have to then go into Disk Management to resize the partitions to fill the available space in the new drive.
      Regards,
      HP Support
