I'm so glad that videos like this exist, especially straight from the source. You would never see self repair guides from Apple for example.

Thanks for the video. You're actually not out of luck if you break the screen. I bought a 23.8" HP monitor and swap the screen. I just did it with a used HP240a monitor. Monitor wasn't exactly compatible as far as screws go so I had to use double sided tape to attach it to plastic frame, but now my daughter's all-in-one works without an external monitor.
Part number of the screen inside my HP All-In-One LM238WF5.

Thanks for this video. Servicing all-in-one computers is always a pain in the arse but this machine is easier to get into than an iMac, so that's a plus!

Excellent breakdown video. Less then 0:30 of footage to resolve RAM issues, slightly different on my model, but close enough to be accurate. Much appreciated.

A quick tip regarding the 22-c0000 models -
Some c0000 models will feature a user-upgradable low-power desktop processor rather than a soldered-on laptop processor. The process to remove and replace it is as follows:
    1. Remove the hinge cover, stand, speaker cover, and partially separate the rear cover and LCD panel assemblies.
    2. Unscrew the fan assembly and remove it.
    3. Locate the captive Phillips #1 screws on the heatsink as outlined by the stencils on the heatsink, and carefully unscrew them.
    4. Remove the heatsink. Be sure to clean off all of the thermal paste on the heatsink before reinstalling it.
    5. Locate the retention arm on the CPU socket. In normal cases, it should be on the right hand side of the socket.
    6. Pull the retention arm away from its holding clip and above the mainboard. The CPU lock should lift up and away from the CPU.
    7. Remove the CPU by grasping both sides of it and gently removing it. Clean off all of the thermal paste and store your old CPU in a dry and cool place.
    8. Check your new CPU before you install it. It must have no visible damage to any of the pins if you look at it from different angles.
    9. Carefully grab the CPU and install it into the mainboard. Be sure to give the CPU a slight wriggle to ensure it is in the socket securely.
    10. Close the CPU retention mechanism by grabbing the retention arm and bringing it down beside the CPU and socket. Pull the retention arm back into its holding clip.
    11. Apply new thermal paste to the CPU before reinstalling the heatsink.
    12. Reinstall the heatsink and fan assemblies. Make sure all screws are securely tightened.
    13. Remerge the rear cover and LCD panel assemblies, and reinstall the speaker cover, stand, and hinge cover.
Keep in mind that you may need to reinstall the operating system of your choice onto your computer so as to not cause any hardware compatibility issues.

I really appreciate the video! I am having trouble getting the LCD out of the case and I don't want to force it too much. Is there a "secret screw" I missed? In the videos I have watched, the screen pops out quite easily and mine isn't cooperating. Don't want to break anything! My wife would not be happy!
