It's great that you showed all the steps of teasing pieces apart instead of editing it out. Some ppl might think it's repetitious , but I get stuck on those little things, wondering if I'm doing it wrong. Great job! 👍 Now I'm ready to upgrade the SSD from 256 GB to 512.
This is a really good video applicable for many, if not all, of the recent HP All-in-Ones. At the same time, HP deserves severe criticism for the lack of a maintenance manual for these All-in-Ones on its web site. Also, HP gets even harsher criticism for the next-to-the-worst design of an All-in-One. Why next-to-worst? Apple's iMacs get the crown for the worst design for maintainability. With an iMac, you need special tools, a special cardboard part, and replacement ADHESIVE to glue the screen on after you remove it, all courtesy of iFixit. If only HP had glued the screen on for this All-in-One, it could have shared the title with Apple for worst ever computer to repair or upgrade. If you need to work on an HP All-in-One, this video is for you. Better still, DO NOT buy an HP All-in-One!!!!
I upgraded from 4GB to 16GB today. My 22-df0001na is slightly different (brand new in November 2021). The stand didn't need to be removed, although I did remove the stand cover which is all in one piece as opposed to the three in this video. I'm not sure if it needed to come off or not. Once the speaker cover was off (it's handy to be a guitarist as medium and hard picks are perfect for upening the little catches!) there was a set of screws - all with little double arrows pointing to them They all needed to come out. A magnetic screwdriver is important for this job as some screws are deep. Loosening the screen was a bit hairy, but gentle outward pressure from the bottom (where the screws came out plus some gentle sliding and tweaking with the pick got me there in the end. Thanks for giving me the confidence to have a go - working perfectly now.

Actually you can mix RAM of various sizes, speed, timings, chip configuration and brand, it's just they won't work "optimally" together, i.e. performance won't be very uniform and consistent. The whole "you can't mix RAM" thing is more of a thing in the past when CPUs didn't really have advanced and flexible memory controllers in them, especially around the mid to late 90's era. Mixing RAM isn't something you want to do in a PC used for gaming or any other speed sensitive application though, my old HP workstation which had mix of two different duos of RAM modules (two single-rank and two dual-rank, both of different timings) would have quite noticeable microstutter in some games, particularly in Destiny 2, and I attribute these stuttering problems to the memory configuration of that computer, since no amount of increasing or decreasing visual quality settings would solve the problem. This was with an RX 460 4GB graphics card too, which should be able to run those several year old games fine at low settings at the very least. Heck, I had an even much older and less performant HD 5770 1GB before that card, and the microstuttering was kind of noticeable there too. But yeah, mixing RAM is possible, I just wouldn't recommend it if you use your PC for gaming or any other application that requires performance that is both fast and predictable, consistent (audio workstation / heavy video editing maybe?)
