    Four years ago I bought my first EM and in 2019 a new EPure.
    I was very satisfied since it switches off near to the top of a big step/slope of about 1.5m.
    Electric bikes let the rear wheel totally free as the engine switches off...and if you don't expect it is like when you break the chain with 2T/4T.
    The difference are:
    - the chain is like to break as you touch the obstacle, not at the top of a slop, but at the beginning, so the fall is really less dangerous
    - the electric bike switch of without any advertisement, no noise change, no progression...and this is more dangerous
    - the electric bike switches off even when non fully discharged when you ask more energy then the battery can give at that moment (e.g. after some hours of training) and this means that when are less than half charged the bike can switch off at any moment... and this is dangerous
    Using a 2T/4T ad the engine switches off, the rear wheel is blocked by the engine itself, while with electric motor the rear wheel is likely free !
    For all this reason I say that ELECTRIC BIKES ARE REALLY MORE DANGEROUS!
    I practice Trial for 40 years and still now I go on training on mountain hard paths (the more steps and slope I found the more I'm happy...), but the only time I risked my life was caused by electric bike !
    In fact after 4 years of using them, the day after I sold it back for a new 4T (the 3rd) and after a few months a can confirm is really much more safe !
    Be careful for your life !

      Really interesting take. I wonder if something simple could be done to address this safety issue? Maybe just programming and no extra hardware

      @@timlewis5527 I was in deep contact with Italian reseller and I could get software for remapping the ECU, but the problem was not fixable.
      I want to notice that Electric Motion headquarters give NO HELP AT ALL for ECU and I wait 3 months to get my bike, having payed all the price at the order and losing a whole summer holiday in 2019.
      I mentioned this issue even to Italian ministers of transportation having no reply.
      Now I think unfortunately someone needs to die to keep this issue at the right attention ...

      I have one from late 2007, then official race bike from Italian champion of 2009, then the first 290 elaborated by Future Trial...still working perfectly.
      Last year to get the best reward for my Electric Motion of 4 few months I changed it with the new Montesa 4RT 301, really a good and easy bike, even for me used to drive race elaborated (even if I'm not a participant to races, but I like driving issue and mountain hard patterns).
      I'm really expert in remapping Montesa 4RT from its origins and this allows me to get the best from my bikes for my drive style.

    Que moto recomendariais para una persona que quiere iniciarse y nunca ha tocado trial( pero que lleva toda la vida con motos) , una 125cc 2t , 250cc 2t o 4t??

    Genial vídeo y comparativa David. Una pregunta, estoy intentando comprarme una moto de segunda mano y parece que hayan desaparecido todas del mercado. Antes en motos.net había Shercos (p.e.) para aburrir de todos los precios y años. Ahora apenas hay 4 o 5 aprovechables y carísimas.¿Qué está pasando?
