We all love Gohan, we watched him grow up from an adorable kid, to a great hero. Watched as he faced life's trials like a man when he was just a boy. We rooted for him, cheered with joy every time he grew stronger and overcame an obstacle. Watched as he became the man he was meant to be. We were there every step of the way as he went from gifted child to the universe's greatest hero.

Keep in mind, Gohan never really had the personality or mentality of a fighter or warrior like his father or Vegeta, Gohan would always only resort to violence when he was left with literally no other choice, and the displays of his full power almost exclusively came in bursts of pure rage in answer to those he cared about being placed into harm's way. This is why he never really trained and thus lost significant portions of his former strength. Goten on the other hand actually enjoys fighting to a degree, but at the same time he has the gentle nature of his older brother, more or less making Goten the equivalent of fusing Goku and Gohan's respective personalities. Goten genuinely enjoys a challenge, though as he's still young he doesn't necessarily have the level of courage that his father or brother do. As for Chi-Chi, she's simply trying to be a good mother, it's played up as more extreme for entertainment purposes, but still she is simply worrying about the welfare of her children. What good mother would willingly allow her own children to go off into a decidedly deadly situation (if not for Goku, Chi-Chi would likely have made absolutely sure Gohan went nowhere near Perfect Cell).

I thought buu saga drag on for too long.

Bryanx Thanks for sharing man. I am on my 7th month of calisthenics and weight training and it really is pretty crazy to see how much I progressed. I'm finally able to do different types of static holds that on my 2nd month I thought was just far out of reach for a hard gainer like me. I still have a lot to work on but thanks man I hope by the end of my first year i'll be able to do 15 muscle ups.
These days I see a lot of excuses for the decisions that the creator has made in the show. It's all about keeping peace, nothing more. But outside of all that "making nice" bull lets just be honest here, Toriyama failed Gohan as a character. Gohan should have been progressed the way you have portrayed him here. A kid, gentle boy that learns to fight his own battles, keep his father's memory alive, and live peacefully with his friends and family. A boy that grew up, learning to fight for what he believes in rather than cowering away from it as we see him do now. Not a nerd, just normal and yet exceptionally gifted, a man meant to rise to his destiny as a man. To keep his head held high, never to waver in the wake of life's obstacles. Never to give up.

I would have loved it if you ended with a shot of him sleeping in the field with his dad in super sayian form, which I thought was pretty amazing to see power wielded so gently, with the wind whipping the grass all around them in waves.
I will never stop loving Gohan. I think he's got the right balance of fighting spirit as a Saiyan warrior but still the kindness of a human who just wants to live a life. Not always wanting to fight, not always wanting to be pacifist. Put respect on my boy's name, he's deserved it.

Gohan's tears... The tears of a broken soul, someone who has been forced to cast aside all morale foundings. It's sad how he now has to live with what he's done.... As a child he has killed more than he should have, if at all. At least now he doesn't have to fight if he doesn't want to, good on you Gohan, never lose sight of your asperations and desires.
This is how it happened. A boy who lost everything. Someone who didn’t like to fight, someone who only wanted to live a normal life. Then it happened, the androids killed everyone and there was little reason to live and so he surrendered to death leaving trunks to save the world. You could argue that depression and loss is what led him to death. How incredible it is to see a younger version of himself beat someone even stronger than what his future self died to. We are way stronger than we think we are and no matter how depressed we get, we have enough strength to go beyond ourselves.

Watching this I tell you Gohan that young man has come a long way I miss the kid Gohan the battles with the Ginyu Force Frieza when Vegeta first came I miss that Gohan when he fought cell he literally became a man right in front of us and to me my opinion no one else..that was Gohan's true great battle testing moment stepping in his father shoes 👏🏾he did great in the Majin Buu saga but fighting cell I just couldn't believe how strong he was 💪🏾 love Gohan always will but when he was younger he was a straight beast at the end when Gohan was super Saiyan 2 and his eyes was full of tears I got to admit I almost cried with him 😭🤣 My boy Gohan 👏🏾👏🏾💯💯
This a really lovely music here its amazing. I love it. to me its a soft version of gohan angers theme. with this it starts off soft then rise up to the extent to build up of his outburst of power, and of his emotions as well ^^
This video should really have more views, specially with the song mixing and the scenes he had at the time, it really touches you.

Gohan's tears... The tears of a broken soul, someone who has been forced to cast aside all morale foundings. It's sad how he now has to live with what he's done.... As a child he has killed more than he should have, if at all. At least now he doesn't have to fight if he doesn't want to, good on you Gohan, never lose sight of your asperations and desires.
This is how it happened. A boy who lost everything. Someone who didn’t like to fight, someone who only wanted to live a normal life. Then it happened, the androids killed everyone and there was little reason to live and so he surrendered to death leaving trunks to save the world. You could argue that depression and loss is what led him to death. How incredible it is to see a younger version of himself beat someone even stronger than what his future self died to. We are way stronger than we think we are and no matter how depressed we get, we have enough strength to go beyond ourselves.
