Thinking about switching to a 350, 2019 and up. I’ve been ridding a 19 250sx for about 70 hours. Previous bike was a 22 crf250. Any advice if i should do it or not
I am hearing the mapping on the motor is slightly different than the 23-24'.....they dropped a tooth on the rear sprocket as a result. Can you confirm?
Interesting, an AEO powersports rep stated on a video from The MotoFam that all 2025 engines have changed internal gear ratios. Probably goes hand in hand with different mapping and sprocket size

Can anyone comment on how it compares to the ktm 250sxf as far as engine braking and handling in corners? Is the much harder to throw around in corners? Does it roll into corners nice or is there heavier engine braking than the 250 sxf? The power delivery sounds perfect.

That's what I'm looking at because they make a Factory Edition with spring forks. The price of a SX-F gas tank and a 19 inch rear wheel is still cheaper than a spring conversion kit, plus it has all the fancy Factory Edition stuff.
The air forks arent as bad as what people say. For 90% of riders theyre really good. Most people wont go to through the bike when they buy it the way they should. Take apart and lubricate everything, factories dont put enough on anything. Linkage, swingarm, axles, all that. Make sure the engine mounts are torqued properly and do NOT overtighten the bolts on the triple clamps. After 8-10 hours, loosen the engine mounts and let the chassis settle. Theres no denying I think spring forks are better, but the air forks arent THAT bad.
