Okay, I can understand how the Impulse Gundam's Core Splednor and Silhouette Flyers (aside from the Blast Silhouette, of course) are flight-capable in atmosphere, but how the hell are the Chest Flyer and the Leg Flyer flight-capable in atmosphere?

in the UC universe, it is said the minovsky particles create some kind of a suspended lattice which allow mobile suit to hover
but in CE universe... i aint sure if there is an analog for that

@@lammatt, the only thing I can think of is that ZAFT did what McDonnell Douglas did with the F-4 Phantom, where they simply equipped it with some of the most powerful engines they could fit into it and got it to fly via brute force.

@@rico4376 Gouf flight type technically achieved atmospheric flight and it was seen in UC79, literally 4 years after the Zaku I. Then after there is the Messala was first seen at UC87, Asshimar was first seen on UC85. Followed by Bylarant and Zeta Gundam both in UC87. Literally the first flight capable ms was made 4 years after the first MS. And then even that the Asshimar which is capable of extended flight time took 10 years after the Zaku I. In no way was it 30 years

@@rico4376 It's called technological advancement, GM with Corvette Booster in the original MSV or Thunderbolt, could already can do Atmospheric Flight and that was in OYW era, the reason UC didn't do implement that is because difference in tactic, sheer fuel consumption for the sheer thrust needed to keep it afloat / the problem which plague the Gouf Flight-Type, and the more economically available Variable Units like Asshimar or Ankhsha. It's not until Mid-Late UC that they can made a viable way to do it and the byproduct of Minovsky Craft / Drive is also produced variety of effects.
CE doesn't have grounded basis like that, Aile Striker only need to jettison it's used battery / propellant, Impulse Flight Capable Backpack is only on the Force, and they manufactured stuff without with iffy backpack without Thrust or Fuel Consumption spec and just put ' it can fly ', story-wise it's because CE happened in short-time frame ( 71-73 ), and they've already had near miss with Extinction with both sides ready to commit Genocide on Humanity as species and they need all the tech advancement as much as they could, that's why CE didn't show you how M1 Astray and Murasame development links or other stuff.

Huh. You know sometimes I actually like the overall hangar design of the Minerva over that of the Archangel. I always wonder how the hangar and catapults work on the Archangel when the Minerva has a far better set up in my mind. If that makes any sort of sense.

I'm actually kind of amazed how Minerva has an entire catapult system built around deploying JUST ONE mobile suit. It would make sense if the entire complement of Minerva were Impulses, but most of its craft are Zakus...

Is Legend Gundam and Providence Gundam are same? Maybe in Head The Providence Gundam have mask like Rau Lee Cruset but Legend Gundam the head change.

They are different, legend has more funnels, different rifle etc. The head and torso are also different as you mentioned. The legend is the successor to the providence.
