Thank you sir. Working on one now just like it. All fell out taking cover off. Figured it out except the dog gear. Didn't come to me to just move shaft!! Perfect.

This video helped me with my project. I thought the magnets come loose from the flywheel watching other videos. That's what got me to take off the cover. While disconnecting the wiring I found a fried connection. At that point, I had the cover off a couple inches and was committed to take it completely off to make sure the shims and gears didn't fall off. I have to re-install everything repair the wiring and hope that was the problem. This flywheel doesn't appear to have the glued-in magnets.

It should be noted - take the detent ball out before pulling the cover off, and do not put it back in until after the cover is back on. The cover will NOT go on, if that detent ball is in place!!! Also, it will help coming off, by not dragging the HI-Low shifter shaft with the cover, thus dropping many parts.
We fought with the cover for almost 2 hours last night trying to get it to go back on.

I would go to a site like foxarticcatparts.com and look at the exploded views of the parts. You should be able to figure out what shims go where that way.

Did you ever find out where that pressure style washer went? Having the same issue. And when I watch this video closely, none are the pressure one

Sorry, but this was many years ago, so I barely remember this repair. There is a great forum for Arctic Cats called Arctic Chat. I would try there

I don't know. I never did timing on my Eiger. I imagine there must be one.

I know it's been a very long time since you posted this video, but I have a 4 wheeler that is identical to this one. My issue is that the gear selector (high/low) is stuck in the high position, but runs like it's in low. I know this because my friend also has the same 4 wheeler and his is much faster. Please help!!!
