I own a 2004 Arctic cat 400 4x4. It's an extremely reliable ATV for me. It's never let me down. Not once. Always starts, runs amazing. Those things also have a priming lever on the side of the carb which makes it start easier if it's sat for some time
Ahh ok, thanks man! After I rebuilt the motor in this I took it to Busco Beach for CarsandCameras Mini Mayhem and it hasn't let me down! Motor now has over 100 miles on it, i'm just doing little mods to it now like jetting, exhaust, details etc.
Nice video. I have a 2006 Arctic cat 400 where did you buy your parts from I'm playing hell to find a rebuild kit for it. I had the stator breakdown i ha e a new stator already and needing to find a rebuild kit for mine.
Oh cool! Is it the auto or manual? I went on Amazon or ebay to find 95% of the parts for this thing, they have a top-end rebuild kit for $100 or so and it is a good quality kit and my engine runs fine.
Yes, I fixed the screen in another video "Arctic Cat 400 Cleaning and Detailing". basically, pull the old film off the glass and put new film sheets over it. Takes some time but it can be done on the cheap.
Spoiler alert, the next part requires some engine disassembly so stay tuned!
Can’t wait to see it done. This is going to be a great series.
Yeah its been pretty good so far but has been a lot of work! I got another video coming soon about new rear cv axles.

Have the same wheeler that I’ve fixed just like you, I’ve ran into my fair share of problems too. Let me know if you have any questions
Alright thanks man! I got another video coming out about cleaning it and making it almost like new again!
Did you ever fix the screen? i just bought one with that same screen issue. If so what did you do?
