Great journalism by EWTN, Bravo! Mr. Milone needs to obtain justice in the morass of corruption. Why did the Pope hire him in the first place? Naivete? Short-lived good publicity? The truth is always heaven sent.
Because sometimes people hire someone they know thinking their relationship will override negative findings of becoming transparent. Howeva, an honest auditor continues his audit with integrity his findings may become too close to the people that they don't want public and transparent. When that happens, they nicely fire them or ask them to resign or cancel the contract.

Incredible. I don't believe that Parolin or the Pope was shocked at anything that Señor Milone told them. If anything, I think they were shocked that he found out. NO one involved in any of the numerous crimes (abuse, embezzlement, to name two) has been punished.
It occurred to me the Pope may have used Milone to get dirt on the bad players in the Curia. When he had the dirt, he no longer needed Milone (or Pell for that matter) to reform anything. I can't prove this of course, but it seems suspicious the Pope just stopped having meetings with him without him asking himself, "Didn't I use to have regular meetings with Mr. Milone??? I wonder what happened to him? I should probably check up on him to see how his findings are going." And then after he got sacked, one would think the Pope would be like, "Hmmmm, why did he get sacked? He was doing an excellent job. Who sacked him?" That said, it's hard to say what kind of pressure any pope is under in Vatican court life. I don't know what power, if any, a pope actually has--so I'm open to being wrong. As a financial with years behind my belt, you develop a sense to feel out what makes sense and what doesnt. This auditor sounds credible, honest man that has to weigh carefully his words because he realises he has commitment not speak publicly in the greatest detail. I m actually surprised on the level of detail he does mention, its more than i expected. He also speaks on the pope as an honest man. I think that may be true, the current pope comes across more humble than the previous one. But you cant suddenly flip a culture like the catholic church, that sounds like a near impossible job.
I love the Catholic since I was one for forty years. 42 yrs ago I had a personal encounter with the Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord told me get out of the Catholic church. Since than have a beautil relationship with the Lord. Love the Word of God. The Word will open your spiritual eyes. You will know the thruth.
This happened to me when Cardinal Bernard Law in Boston moved pedophile priests to other churches after decades of abuse. The Catholic Church refused to hold their own accountable and put the church above its flock, children and the law. I will never support the Catholic Church again.

"The Vatican" is a word people throw out loosely. They should be more specific about who committed the crime instead of accusing the Vatican, the American, the Chinese, the Jew, the Indians....If accusation, then evidence is in order to be presented.
I've noticed this as well. I believe that part of telling the truth is being as precise as possible. Of course when it's the news media involved that tends not to happen
The Vatican, Holy See, The Pope, the Church as it began with the Establishment of the Papacy, Sabbath Day changed to Sunday, the Catholic Priest introduced the Big Bang Theory, The Church created the Gregorian Calendar that we now use and have been using and is not in accordance with how God wanted us to tell time… it is Satan’s Church. Period.
They own properties, invest in stocks, influence UN decisions, have their own state, government, jurisdiction, “heavenly”-authority… strip the church of its power and stop attending. Pick up the Gospel instead. Nothing in the Church gets you closer to God. ALL IS IDOLATRY

Dreadful experience for this man of faith. Experienced, respected, trustworthy, and this was the result? The threats and accusations do surprise me, and it shouldn't. It makes me so very sad. I am sorry this happened to you, Sir. Good luck with your lawsuit.
If only the Vatican had called in someone from KPMG: there would have been no problems found, and Castel Gandolfo would now be an offshore tax haven.
Brilliant.😊
Nothing new to see here - Banco Ambrosiano - Roberto Calvi - Blackfriars Bridge.
God bless and rest Cardinal George Pell..🙏
Indeed. ❤🙏💞
He has a very poor reputation here in Australia
@@fionamann1553I believe that was orchestrated…I believe he was targeted,
Very bad reputation in Australia
@@MillieonaVespa the whole Australia targeted him? you are brainwashed.
As a catholic I find this shocking and shameful.
Ok... Well then don't take a drug test....If this shocks you
As a former Catholic and now a follower of Jesus Christ I am not
@@SohanDomingo You left Christ's Church to follow Christ? That doesn't make sense. In either case, there is no principle within Christianity that one should abandon the Church because of the scandal and crime of Judas stealing. Corruption is everywhere. Look at the books of many of the Protestant communities out there. Or, if you think being independent will help you, there is always risk of corruption in your own heart.
The gospel tells us that Judas stole money right under Jesus' nose. I don't find this shocking at all. I am happy that Pope Francis, just like his saintly predecessors, is working prayerfully hard to reform things so that systematic corruption would be nearly impossible. Not every attempt is successful. But he is trying.
@@vivacristorey4363 Sohan is a protestant who goes to every video to comment that 😆
What an honest and brave man, justice will be his and I love the light shining example he is setting ✨🌟🌞💯
Cardinal Becciu = I’m shocked! shocked to learn there’s gambling going on in this establishment! Here is your winnings Cardinal, oh! Thank you very much.
A real hero. Bless the man that stands against corruption.
Sir you are a most decent honorable man. Thank you for your service to the Church
I am deeply ashamed not just of the crimes they (allegedly) committed, but because they scared this hard-working Catholic man silly. Is the Chair of Peter (now, today) secure? Are there ruthless forces in the Vatican, near the Holy Father in terms of political and criminal malfeasance or is the Holy Father to have some blame in the matter. It's very hard to not to fall back on how I was raised. My core. I just know this: Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of the Ever-Living God, and as Catholics must pray so we can...move forward 🌅
Anytime a company employee gets defensive of financial questions, there is guilt and secrecy. Every dam time.
This is absolutely gripping! And clearly those old guard middle-managers are unaquainted with that well-established, century-old insight from psychology that accusation is confession.
God bless him and give him success. G Ire
Great report. Please keep us updated. Thank you.
I am relieved to learn more about the circumstances of this scandal. I completely understand and have experienced the evil that can exist in the workplace environment m. It is a lonely place to be having to carry this knowledge and the ptsd that accompanies it. I pray that a serious settlement is forthcoming very soon.
Very telling.
Whenever money/finances are involved, different avenues of corruption and irregularities are no strangers. Sad reality.
In rhe end The TRUTH will out. In the end Justice will eventually will always defeat Injustice!
Justice??????!!!!! - Not in a persons - timely - ACTUAL - lifetime! Not - the meek innocent honest and good! Not - for those who can -not - be a hypocrite! Not - for those who live like these good values throughout- their - whole - life and with long lived integrity! Not - for those whom -refuse - to sell out or suck up - to any person or club or already connected to! No. We forget - where we live and the real snakes and types that get ahead and take advantage whilst trying - MUCH HARDER - to survive - whilst living and being - cradle to grave - all the good normal human right and correct and fair and non traitorous values of character! And in and on the ground in reality! So many are snakes and pretenders!!!!! All led and mirrored by so called leaders everywhere upon society so now - everywhere!!!!!! Not to mention cowards!!!!!
The devil is in the church.
As is everywhere....
The book "Gods Bankers" goes over what went on with funds before and during the second World War war. Credible and intensive research.
The Da Vinci code is another fantasy book i recommend.
I shall in my turn recommend you read the bible fantasy compilation
An audit is a fact facing and a fact finding excercise with no bias ... ideally from that audit you know where you stand. whats working whats not. Why fear an audit? nothing to fear. For me the results of an audit are informative and a place to start a new beginning. Why resist an audit? phooey.
What in the hell were they spending all this money on? Was child trafficking involved?

Seven years later. Give them not a cent.
We are obliged to support our pastors.
If I learned one thing, it is that the truth is somewhere in the middle. And the media is seldom interested in the truth.
Mr. Flynn, this is one of the best, or THE BEST, interview I have ever seen. Well prepared and persistent. Your interview helped me completely change my mind about the situation by exposing an amazing amount of persuasive context.
Sounds like they were deliberately dishonest.
Are they church leaders or a mafia? Horrible the way this man and his colleagues were treated. Everyone, no matter how "important" the position you hold is, will have to answer to Jesus one day - may he have mercy on them.
I hope what happens to Cardinal Pell will not happen to him
The Lord will judge ... Stay strong ... Honesty ... Truth ... These things are the only thing that will save us ...
I’ll bet the pope was overwhelmed. Overwhelmed at the thought that the truth would get out.
Why would He hire him
Doubtful. They’ve been in power for over 2,000 years. Impunity at its finest
How is the Pope refraining from requiring a full report on this intolerable issue? He should insist on finding the truth.
It's a show. The pope is in on it and taking part of the money.
Praise the lord almighty for such great catholic believers
No matter the outcome its always a pleasure to listen to someone speaking wisely 😊 one of the greatest feelings is just to hear some common sense...works like magic
Corruption through and through.
They thought they could buy his reputation without being subject to scrutiny?
You need to explain why Archbishop Vigano was removed at start of your video
Period.
Great interview
Two things at the same time can be true. The accused can be guilty. The prosecutor can be validly fired. Lets not forget the accused was found guilty.
It could also be true that they are Freemasons conspiring against the truth coming out.
An auditor checks the financial records, receipts & the bookkeeping. Impossible to accuse an auditor of spying.
This man deserves justice from that terrible institution
Wait, what? The Vatican is bent?, who knew . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
TH-cam randomly recommended this high quality channel to me. Riveting reporting.
"Vatican financial auditor"....
That's like saying "Satan's air conditioning tech" 😂
Make any church pay taxes and have accountability. See how fast they change
They own properties, invest in stocks, influence UN decisions, have their own state, government, jurisdiction, “heavenly”-authority… strip the church of its power and stop attending. Pick up the Gospel instead. Nothing in the Church gets you closer to God. ALL IS IDOLATRY
A sad moment in the Catholic Church,I hope this nice man gets the justice he deserves ,God is watching
Really? Sad moment? If only their walls could speak…
To accuse someone of spying implies that you have something to hide which is in direct contradiction of everything that Christianity stands for.
I’m always amazed by how seemingly ignorant so called clever people or even people in authority are.
Corruption in the Catholic Church!!! Oh! There’s a surprise😂😂😂😂😂😂
PF made Becciu cardinal an state department functionary, then is found responsable for fraude, a multimillionaire fraude, and Becciu always said that PF always know the business
That is money very poor people give to the Church for Christ's work. These people STOLE THIS MONEY. Shameful.
Never confess to what you didn't do.
I’m happy with my priests and church community in Athens Ga they are magnificent .
I'd suggest that everybody should watch the debate with Christopher Hitchens and Stephen Fry on the debate topic " the Catholic church is a force for good".
These two well researched and articulate men highlight the myriad of harm and mayhem occurrences this institution has dealt humanity, right up to the present day.
They continue to gloss over issues and hope they will disappear. Evil and corruption grows where power and riches lie.
