    In 1969, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were working as Alice in Wonderland characters at their local shopping mall for $3 an hour. Little did they know that they would soon start the most profitable company in history. In this video, you'll find out how Apple happened and its true size.

    Lost me at (Bigger than Google). And yes I have heard the facts about Apple's origins and where they are now. I still think Google has far more reach and influence than Apple could reach. This is proven because they had to restructure their entire company to better manage all of their assets.

    • @nienryu
      @nienryu 8 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      +Ryan V I also believe Google has a bigger reach. For a lot of people, Google is their internet. Search, browser, email, media consumption (YT), and some people use their services to make a living (YT again). It just seems like Google is doing so much more despite lesser profits.

    • @Idontwantahandle1111
      @Idontwantahandle1111 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +TheOriginalLuffy True. Which for the consumer is a better thing. Apple's profit margin's are so unnecessarily high ! I mean take the Apple Watch for instance! It takes about $83.70 to build according to Forbes and the cheapest model is $350! That's insane. I get you have to pay for the design and all that goes into it but surely it doesn't cost that much.

    • @ColdFusion
      @ColdFusion  8 ปีที่แล้ว +38

      +Ryan V I agree, Google has obviously done a lot more for the world, from search, to android, maps, revolutionizing email etc - Apple currently just has the most value by concentrating on only a couple of products which I find very interesting.
      - I did edit the title as in hindsight it turns the video into some sort of competition (which is really not what it's about).
      Cheers for the comment.

      It wasn't touchscreen, there was a pen for touchscreen which was connected with phone over cable. So
      apple made the first multi touch phone.

    • @GameplayBangladesh
      @GameplayBangladesh 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Rizowan Sarkar, my HP iPAQ running Windows CE didn't have a "pen for touchscreen which was connected with phone over cable".... it was pure touchscreen, no cable. But it did come with a plastic stylus, but using the stylus was just optional. As far as I can remember, my HP iPAQ came out ~5 years before iPhone. Apple just "enhanced" the already existing touchscreen... that's all.

      Excuse my pun, but you're not comparing apples to apples. Samsung is huge company that has many many many different business and that income and profit ratio is rolled into one. You would have to compare their mobile division profit to apples profit to get a real picture and i'm sure it will be closer.

    • @pawninwordsandsoon
      @pawninwordsandsoon 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mantaray Your argument would be valid 5 years ago, but Apple makes the best mobile processors since A8. A10 scores 3500 single core and 5600 multi core on benchmarks while snapdragon 821 scores 1600 single core and 4100 multi core. There is ALOT more things in a mobile processor than just maximum GHz, and when it comes to "big.LITTLE" processors - the amount of cores changes the enrgy efficiency, not performance, which means a mobile processor might have 10 cores and still get destroyed by a dual-core processor (which is the case with apple's mobile processors)
