You really are an incredible film maker. Your teaching videos were really a gift for the people, the people want more. Regardless, sending strength brother!
I appreciate you showing how you got the shots. I subscribed just now because you honestly inspired me to get back into my creative mode. Booked a getaway just now because of you too ready for my camera to come tomorrow and shoot some fire shots
You are not a "reviewer". You're more like an inspirer. You show the possibilities of the equipment being used (not just this product) which inspires people to get out there and capture the world. One thing no one seems to mention about the AcePro2. No one, not even Insta360 admits it on their site, the batteries for AcePro and AcePro2 are compatible. So if you invested into a several AcePro batteries (which are 1650mAh), the work fine in the AcePro2.
Who needs specs when we've got Brandon that shows you what you can do with one of these cameras, yet again an excellent video that makes my video creation better. Thanks!
The AcePro's 1% shared responsibility for such great clips is the low light footage. Everything else is Brandon's genius at work, making a point that it's the mind behind the camera that really matters. Looking at other videos from other creators, footage from any camera in their comparisons is just shite!
Questions for you Brandon.Between the 360 pro 2 and dji action 5, which would you use for vlogging. Also if using as a b cam to a Sony fx 30 what log would you us if 360 pro 2? Dont know how their log would be as good to match to dji m log to slog 3. Awesome work as usual!!!!
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is still the best for low-light in the small action cams but it also looks like it still has that problem of soft focus when the lens gets too close to a person. I thought they would have fixed that. As usual, great video Brandon!
I think it’s a physics issue. If you are fixed focused at infinity, then your minimum acceptable focus point will depend on lens aperture and sensor size. The bigger aperture and sensor, the further your minimum focus. Ace Pro 2 has good low light but probably this also affects the close focus ability.
@@BrandonLiUnscripted So, basically, not good for vlogging, which is what most people would probably want to buy it for. Great to see that there's actually an use case for the flip up screen, i.e., bite mount :) Joking. Or am I?
Excellent inspirational video as always. I would suggest however not to bite the touch screen for POV shots because it is not the toughest one. The camera itself is a little powerhouse. Mine broke because the camera fell from a low hight and the screen broke. 😢. Had to replace it.
I’ve seen you made a cinematic video with a toy camera Brandon. In short don’t buy the newest camera guys buy your self a Brandon li to shoot your videos lol. Kidding aside great work and informative as always Brandon!
This 99.7% the e x a c t same camera as the Ace Pro. And I see more over-processing and HDR halos and artifacts. Whatever "improved DR" is at the cost exclusively of more processing and AI stuff instead of actually having better hardware.. sorry, just looks plain bad like a really good modest mobile phone. A mid-cycle half baked product just to make news instead of offering anything worthwhile any kind of upgrade. Thanks for the video, nice footage as always.
I was expecting a little more from the Ace Pro 2 and didn't expect it to be so digital looking so I'll keep my Ace Pro and wait until they bring out the Ace Pro 3 and see what that does unless of course they bring out a completely different camera
Nice shots, despite this being sponsored by Insta360 nothing good was said about the improved PureVideo mode on this camera (one of the biggest marketing features), you basically only left it up to the viewers to decide at the end. Would be interested to hear your unbiased review of this camera and what the Cons are.
The PureVideo is what it is. A quick and easy way to get clean-ish low light shots with a faster shutter so you can use the stabilization. If you need an action cam in low light, then it’s better than just cranking up the ISO. But of course it won’t match the image of a large sensor camera.
The GoPro stabilizes better, and it’s smaller and lighter. But I think the Ace has better color, detail, and lowlight. Ace is better for selfies because of the flip up screen.
Did they finally implement 10-bit? Or is it still 8-bit? GoPro and DJI have had 10-bit in their action cams the past couple of years, whereas Ace has been lagging behind with 8-bit color (the primary reason I’ve never purchased one).
Something doesn't look right. Kinda low res. But thanks for the review, I love especially the cave to bed to pool shot. Will reference it for my next shoot.
i cant put my finger on it. but insta360 footage just looks more like a phone... gopro footage looks "cooler" or more "cinematic" maybe it's the 10-bit, maybe im biased... anyone else getting this feeling?
Possibly compression error when exporting the video from editing software or in a worse case scenario, the Insta360 had a corruption writing to the memory card. Let's hear from @BrandonLi his response.
There was some mild banding in blue skies. Otherwise it was fine, I didn’t even realize it was 8-bit at first. However I didn’t try to do any extreme grading.
insta360 focusing on the wrong stuff... 8k isnt needed if the video look way over sharpend and the ilog is crap and can still only do 8bit... huge fail. i know youtubers cant say nothing bad though since they are sponsored ill wait for the real reviewers who dont have the followers but know how to use the camera... though i will say Brandon is one of the only youtubers who actually can make footage look good vs the other reviewer youtubers who get sponsored only based on follower size
Excellent product demo - but let’s face it, this is 90% filmmaker 10% camera. Thanks Brandon!
So true. Ive seen reviews by others with new release cameras and just look like poop
Fact.
100% facts
In your hands all the shots come out splendid and you made the camera perform so well. Thanks
You really are an incredible film maker. Your teaching videos were really a gift for the people, the people want more. Regardless, sending strength brother!
I am sold, not only the camera but also the resort...
The resort is 10/10

Great to hear! Hope you enjoy it! I really liked the way the 8k looks on a 4k timeline
God. That cinematography.
The shot from the cave pool through the bedtroom is soo nice 😙👌

Bravo!! Everyone watched this video would 100% get new Ace Pro 2
I hate embargo lift day and only watch one video from one creator and I chose you Brandon because I know it'll be good quality.
Thanks for always supporting me!

Genius, Brandon!

always love your tutorial!!
Good video and intresting. I order one Insta360 Ace Pro 2 today.
Best Sales Commercial ever
Where is the review?

@8:10 Ooopppsss
saw that... what went wrong...!!?
When you do the 2X zoom, how much image quality do you lose? Also you can still crop in more in post correct?
It looks like a rather soft 4k when punched-in. You can crop more in post but not much. You’ll start to see excessive softness pretty quickly.
Thanks, greetings from Aruba.
Good camera, but epic filmmaking skills 👍
Awesome review
Nice work as usual, greeting from Nicaragua

wow😍
💯 great👍
Something alot of the influencers dont mention, you cant import 8k to your phone, you have to use a desktop.
Which is better for you? Insta 360 ace pro 2 or dji 5?
Cool!✌️
BEST!
Hi excellent review
Taiwan NO.1!
so greats

Hey Brandon, how would you compare the GoPro hero 13 to the Ace
The GoPro stabilizes better, and it’s smaller and lighter. But I think the Ace has better color, detail, and lowlight. Ace is better for selfies because of the flip up screen.
ace pro is good. but it was Brandon.

It’s still 8-bit but the log looks good to me overall. Most of this footage was i-log.
Still 8bit, next
👍👍👍✨
Something doesn't look right.
Kinda low res.

what's that green lines at 8:10 ?? a bug?
Render error, not in the original footage
you are okay but Why was care taken to hide underwater footage?
i cant put my finger on it. but insta360 footage just looks more like a phone... gopro footage looks "cooler" or more "cinematic" maybe it's the 10-bit, maybe im biased... anyone else getting this feeling?
Hello, dear blogger, what is the name of the music at 2:40 in this video? I like it very much.
8:09 what are those green marks?
Possibly compression error when exporting the video from editing software or in a worse case scenario, the Insta360 had a corruption writing to the memory card. Let's hear from @BrandonLi his response.
Yeah curious to know - not much impressed compared to osmo action 5 pro tbh, maybe a little better in low light @@YTPAJ12
That was a render error, I just noticed! Wasn’t in the raw footage
but what use of sponsored videos we can see product demo na
8k res.. what a waste.. most of these youtube vids are view on our phones!!
But what if it is shot on 8k and uploaded on 1080p?
Im sorry. No major points than Action 5 pro. Also costs more than action 5. I was waiting ace pro 2. Looks the same as dji.
I am trying to get your course but something is wrong with it, i just don't get the email, i have done it like three times
We tried to reply but your email didn’t work. Try another email, thank you!
Camera too heavy
24 FPS kaldırılsın. Aksiyon kamerasının tabiatına aykırı.
Did you find the lack of 10 bit a issue ?
There was some mild banding in blue skies. Otherwise it was fine, I didn’t even realize it was 8-bit at first. However I didn’t try to do any extreme grading.
@@BrandonLiUnscripted I see thank you bother either it's a great product was just that raised my eyebrow

I like everything except weak sharpness, thank you
You can always increase the in-camera sharpness. I had it set at low.
FIRST you need location
Cavo Tagoo is a good location :-)
👍🏽❤️🔥🔥👌🏽 💛🩶🖤🤍
8:10 rendering error? green screen
Yes, error in rendering. Not the actual footage.
Those 8k crops looks more like 720p from a camera instead of 4k!
this is talent not the product!
This or DJI Osmo Pocket 3? The Osmo is sold out everywhere so I need an alternative🥲
Pocket 3 isn’t an action cam, but it’s better for vlogging. Depends on your needs.
