Ren ran a blog when he was at his most sick Many people with the same sicknesses watched He promised if he ever got well enough to make music and have a platform he would not forget those still struggling alone in the dark He is keeping his promise
Great reaction you two, as usual!! One little thing I'd like to add, mostly for anybody out there reading this, I completely agree with the sentiment of there's always someone out there that's got it worse off than we do, and I believe that knowledge and hearing stories of those who have had it worse can be a powerful tool to humble us, or put things in perspective in order for us to overcome the struggles we are facing. At the same time, I want to remind everyone, If you are a person that is in the dark, as Ren says, that is dealing with an illness, mental health issues, past trauma, or a combination of things, that struggle is very real for YOU, and probably the biggest earth shattering thing that's happened to you in your life. All I'm saying is don't let the fact that others having it worse than you, make you feel like your struggle doesn't need attention, or proper treatment from a professional or even worthy of venting about to a trusted friend or someone who's been through similar. I only say this because I've spent some time (group therapy and working with veteran organizations) with many combat vets, some that are pretty chewed up, and have ptsd myself from my career as a first responder, and I can't tell you how many vets we've lost who've deleted themselves, who never reached out for help because they didn't think their ptsd was that bad, or that recourses are slim sometimes at the VA, and they believed there was other combat vets who were way worse off that needed those resources more. I realize that there are those out there struggling with what life threw at them, who are stuck in "pity party" mode, I've been guilty of it myself at times, who need a kick in the butt by seeing someone worse off, to motivate them, just don't let it keep you from getting help when you truly need it. If ya made it this far, thanks for reading, take care! ✌💚
Please please please check out the songs: Ren: loco, ready for you and for joe. Then please check out one of the bands Ren was in called the big push - wade in the water/Nina simone/trouble so hard, I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop, war pigs black Sabbath cover and watch out live busking performance. I've subscribed in hope of you reacting to these songs 😊❤❤❤ really enjoyed your reactions to Ren guys ❤

While Moby sampled the same original, Ren didn’t get this from Moby. Ren had covered the original when busking and the lyrics means a lot to him, so he paid for the rights to use the original recording and then created the samples himself from that, turning the track into multiple “instruments” used to make the beat.

He promised if he ever got well enough to make music and have a platform he would not forget those still struggling alone in the dark
He is keeping his promise
He wrote his story and read it in live on camera in eight Chaoters on his other channel, Ren makes stuff. This song summarizes the story.
Hey man good to see you guys getting back to some REN. You being a musician haven’t seen Ren busking on the streets with his band the big push.

Bits of a Moby track who in turn got it from some old time gospel singer from long time ago.
