Hearing your story I'm honestly shocked nobody's ever put you on to Ren, he's basically you. You should definitely try Hi Ren first, then Sick Boi. His album is very much about living with serious mental health issues and physical pain. And as a rapper, I think you're going to love his story musically too.

I'll have to echo what others are saying about diving into the Ren Rabbit Hole. His music library is vast and covers many genres, he is after all the genre bender, modern day bard and multi talented. His vocal styles span through his own branded style "Bardcore" to Rap, Reggae, Rock, Pop, R&B, you name it. Ren is also an multi instrumentalist, all self taught, he plays the guitar, piano, bass, cello, etc. Ren also produces all of his beats and directs his own videos, coupled with a notable skill in performing, both in acting and his own emotive style. He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. You should watch his Chapters he put out prior to releasing this. He did one per day for 8 days. They are on his 2nd channel, Renmakesstuff. He's been through hell. Still dealing with it, and been in Canada for over a year receiving medical treatment. Also, he's got some amazing interviews. He's a very interesting, intelligent person. New sub.
Aye lad he's Welsh but lived in Brighton England for a long time. Went to Canada for experimental stem cell treatment to hopefully fix the covering of his brain which Lyme Disease had attacked. Extremely strict diet due to the treatment coupled with being wrongly diagnosed for years as Lyme disease is quite rare here caused autoimmunity disease and psychosis because of the wrong medication they put him on. Finally he's on the mend and happily become very successful and bringing up his mates with him such as Viktus, Samuel Perry-Falvey (videographer) and many others. He's a rare phenomenon in this age of Record Label manufactured radio friendly money making music with zero longevity
Ren is a dope artist! I just in the last few years went and got gene testing done, and found out I have a lot of issues, Lymes, Chronic fatigue, and mast cell disease are the ones that impact my life the most, still go to work everyday and have to provide, nobody cares and bills still coming, but I understand where ya coming from and sorry you have to deal with that!

New sub here. Ren, like so many have stated, is a true gem. Hi Ren is where my Ren journey started, and I haven’t looked back. I’m struggling atm trying to handle what life is throwing at me. Ren is the constant reminder I need to help me keep things in perspective. A bright light in a dark world, do yourself a favor and take the dive into his discography. You won’t be disappointed. He us dtill dealung with brain damage and autoimmunity. MCAS, POTS and constant pain. Howevet he is doing much better. I am sorry for the suffering your body is going through. You arw a light. Yeah subbing. How you hadn’t been put on to Ren is a crime. The more you read about Ren’s story the more I think you’ll love and appreciate the artist and person he is
My sympathies for all your struggles, and my admiration for your strength! Ren also describes being allergic to lots of different foods and environmental things (like perfumes, smoke, etc), causing inflammation, severe digestion issues, and probably near-anaphylaxis too. Eventually that part was diagnosed as MCAS -- overactive allergic mast cells. He developed his as a complication of the 7-year undiagnosed/untreated Lyme disease, but it certainly seems possible all your bodily stresses could have led to a similar result!
I think im one of the few who loves Ren's music and message who doesn’t have multiple health issues. I bit of arthritis, my diet takes care if it, i have no grains or seed oils. Ive learned so much about what so many peope go through, and i know why those people love Ren. We all need to know about the neglect by the health 'authorities '.
Hi, you're the first reactor I've come across who reflects my own story of relative health, who turned to an "evolutionary diet", eating REAL food with as little processing as possible, no grain or seed oils and low sugar. It cleared up my arthritis (some minor bone deformation remains but good flexibility and no pain), skin rashes, bleeding gums, mild daily headaches, oh and heart arrhythmia, all gone after 3 months. Ren sees his Paleo diet in somewhat negative terms but I think we are all suffering from modern production of highly processed food which damages our immune system by weakening the cellular structure of the gut.

I am crying. Ren keeps leading me to the perfect people. I am early in my journey, still undiagnosed. You are the first person who has ever described the symptom of being "allergic to the cold" and I just burst into tears. You are absolutely correct. Moving to Arizona would not help. I live in Tucson. If I get even a little cold, like walking into a highly air conditioned building from a warm day, I go into convulsions, like a seizure. Last time it happened, I was in the middle of a crowded restaurant. A/C is always cranked up here, indoors, everywhere you go. Just for fun, I have bad reactions to heat, as well, so I cannot win. It's already hitting 100s here and it's only June. Just one of the dozens of weird symptoms I have been dealing with. Listening to your story, I can totally empathize with so much of it. It happened so fast. One day, I was fine and then BOOM. Everything just started falling apart. One thing after another. Five years ago, I was a mountain bike enthusiast and was extremely active. Now, I can't walk without a cane or a walker... sometimes I can't walk at all. I'm still in that stage of the healthcare journey where no one really believes me... except the opthalmologist, of all people. He's the only one who's highly concerned. Hoping that my recently upgraded health insurance will make some doctors a little more interested in investigating. I'm struggling but, I'm not giving up. Ren honestly saved my life and he keeps leading me to people like you...who give me little glimpses into your own journey and suddenly I don't feel so alone. So many of us battling chronic illnesses have the regular, run of the mill symptoms but, we all have our own really odd symptoms, too, I think. I'm learning to deal with the pain and the loss of mobility and things like that a little better than I am dealing with the really weird symptoms that I don't see anyone else mention. Having people think that you're faking because they can't feel what you feel and the symptoms just keep getting more and more outlandish. Like, who goes into a seizure from walking down the freezer aisle of the supermarket? That's stupid, right? But, that's what happens to me. Nobody believes it until they are present when it happens. Don't even get me started on the "why are you using a wheelchair if your legs work" type of people. I know this is rambling and I apologize. I probably won't even remember half of what I wrote here, by tomorrow. Gotta get it all out before my faulty short term memory dumps all of the thoughts that I wanted to express. Thank you for helping me get through another day, is all I really want you to take away from all of my rambling. You helped immensely just by talking about your experience. Sending the gentlest of hugs because I know how much they can hurt, even though they're the best feeling in the world. ❤
Trust me I understand. 1 day I was all active into everything and the next thing, I couldn't move. After all the treatments and everything I'm more active now after years of just work and home. But the gym helps. I stay cold have to always have a hoodie of jacket or blanket in my car and make sure my meds and epipen is with me. But once I got it in my head I'm not letting any of this beat me I was able to reclaim my old self back and get to doing what I love doing. I have my good and bad days. But over all I'll try to do my best to succeed and encourage yall to do the same. You're not alone at all. ❤️❤️🫡💯🙏❤️
I can’t express how much it means to me to see you react to this. As a “rich white boy” from an “affluent, so-cal, California” family, as Ren says in a later song, “wanna be me, huh? Grass isn’t greener.” Pain is pain, and struggles are struggles. There’s differing degrees of pain and/or struggles. But the fight to get through the bullshit and just be happy, that’s the one unifying aspect of humanity that anyone and everyone can relate to. And now……. Ren. …..
Ren, and but the way, NF, are 2 dudes that can put every negative thing I’ve ever felt onto a beat, and make my negative feel like a positive. It’s stupid how much someone writing a real life, “I’m going through this shit” type song, get smacked in media. “It’s too emotional”. “It’s too depressing.” Nah. It’s REAL. Not everything is a fucking Instagram photo of what you pretend life is. It’s refreshing AF to get artists that are like, “I got talent, but I’m gonna get real real with it. But it’s gonna be dope too”. Fuck. The music industry needs an infusion of artists like Ren, NF, Dax, Tech9, Knox Hill……. All these dudes that aren’t scared to drop BARS about real life shit, and not just rap about clubs and bitches and parties. That shit was cool in the early 2000’s, but not no more. Great reaction. Ren has Lyme, which is relatively uncommon in the UK, which went misdiagnosed (mostly as psychiatric) for at least 7 years. A long medical tragedy, which developed into MCAS and a ton of organ damage, including brain.😊
I’m so glad you got treated. As a woman, I was just told it was a period-related thing. Turns out my thyroid wasn’t working at all. It took so much effort to get any treatment at all.
I am so sorry for your battles that you face. Like you I have Multiple Sclerosis, I fo not have any of you other diseases, instead I have Auto Immune thrombocytopenia, a prolapsed SVC, and an infindibular mass on my brain by the hypothalamus and pituitary stalk. I have been unable yo work since 30,though I have been fighting these since I was 14. Life gives each of us mountains to climb. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your life's struggles

Go down his rabbit hole. He's very diverse, writes, produces the beats, and narrates how he wants his videos shot. He hits on multiple topics, can rap, sing, and cause emotion with his words. He was with Sony as a teenager and once he was diagnosed with Lyme disease they dropped him. Ren loves his audience and reactors. Great reaction to this song. Ten years of misdiagnosis and treated for wrong illnesses send his undiagnosed Lymes disease into a tornado and combined with treated with dozens of wild meds caused a state of psychosis and bedridden for ten years. In regards to Ren's chapters and his story, Chapter 6 covers the peak of his disease and chapter 7 the lengths he went to so he could heal. If you don't have the time to watch them all, I'd suggest those 2. It's inspiring.
I can relate with you about the cluster headaches. Lately I've been doing much better, since I retired a few years ago, and also on blood pressure medication. But yeah, cluster pain is a killer.

Unfortunately, Ren was misdiagnosed for many years and was given a lot of drugs that did more harm to him causing permanent damage to his body and brain because no one could figure out what was wrong with him. Hence, why at one point Ren had “Lost All Faith.” I am so sorry you are struggling with so many illnesses. Be Thankful your doctors were able to give you a proper diagnosis and the correct medication giving you a little relief and Hope. You are so positive Thank you!

I had a headache for 2 years and no one believed me. More time in the ER than I can count. Then one day it just stopped. Pain migrated to my back, but was more tolerable.
I'd watched your reactions to Hi Ren and Sick Boi and then found this reaction - I listed out a bunch of tracks to consider, but having heard your experience of pain.... man, you gotta go for Seven Sins (there's a cool lyric vid he released with it). It might be the most profound and darkest exploration of pain I've ever heard and there's no two ways about it, it would resonate super hard for you given your experiences.

We are all stronger and wiser for going through it, at least. I've spent most of my life with several autoimmune diseases and in pain everyday like yourself, but the biggest factor keeping me going is my kids. I'll have to echo what others are saying about diving into the Ren Rabbit Hole. His music library is vast and covers many genres, he is after all the genre bender, modern day bard and multi talented. His vocal styles span through his own branded style "Bardcore" to Rap, Reggae, Rock, Pop, R&B, you name it. Ren is also an multi instrumentalist, all self taught, he plays the guitar, piano, bass, cello, etc. Ren also produces all of his beats and directs his own videos, coupled with a notable skill in performing, both in acting and his own emotive style. For me personally, Ren has become one of my many daily medications and just as important as the others. I suffer from a genetic disease that has a barrage of symptomology, homebound and dealing with severe pain every minute of my life, so Ren as you stated, is a kindred spirit. His has taken all of his pain and trials he has been through and out of it has emerged as a once in a generation artist and if you watch his interviews, one of the most humble and intelligent people you will ever get to know. Welcome to the ranks of the Ren-egades, you will find one of the most positive and supportive communities on the internet.
This is a rabbit hole that you should go down. As a 54 year old, i haven't come across a artist as versatile as Ren . A lot of his videos are done in one take. A true artist. Do yourself a favour and check him out.

Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do. You definitely should since it will probably be very relatable. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness.

You should watch his Chapters he put out prior to releasing this. He did one per day for 8 days. They are on his 2nd channel, Renmakesstuff. He's been through hell. Still dealing with it, and been in Canada for over a year receiving medical treatment. Also, he's got some amazing interviews. He's a very interesting, intelligent person. New sub.
Aye lad he's Welsh but lived in Brighton England for a long time. Went to Canada for experimental stem cell treatment to hopefully fix the covering of his brain which Lyme Disease had attacked. Extremely strict diet due to the treatment coupled with being wrongly diagnosed for years as Lyme disease is quite rare here caused autoimmunity disease and psychosis because of the wrong medication they put him on. Finally he's on the mend and happily become very successful and bringing up his mates with him such as Viktus, Samuel Perry-Falvey (videographer) and many others. He's a rare phenomenon in this age of Record Label manufactured radio friendly money making music with zero longevity
Ren is a dope artist! I just in the last few years went and got gene testing done, and found out I have a lot of issues, Lymes, Chronic fatigue, and mast cell disease are the ones that impact my life the most, still go to work everyday and have to provide, nobody cares and bills still coming, but I understand where ya coming from and sorry you have to deal with that!

Ren is the constant reminder I need to help me keep things in perspective. A bright light in a dark world, do yourself a favor and take the dive into his discography. You won’t be disappointed. Yeah subbing. How you hadn’t been put on to Ren is a crime. The more you read about Ren’s story the more I think you’ll love and appreciate the artist and person he is
My sympathies for all your struggles, and my admiration for your strength! Ren also describes being allergic to lots of different foods and environmental things (like perfumes, smoke, etc), causing inflammation, severe digestion issues, and probably near-anaphylaxis too. Eventually that part was diagnosed as MCAS -- overactive allergic mast cells. He developed his as a complication of the 7-year undiagnosed/untreated Lyme disease, but it certainly seems possible all your bodily stresses could have led to a similar result!
You definitely have had a journey as well. REN has a deep catalogue I am glad you found him. Great reaction.
I think im one of the few who loves Ren's music and message who doesn’t have multiple health issues. I bit of arthritis, my diet takes care if it, i have no grains or seed oils. Ive learned so much about what so many peope go through, and i know why those people love Ren. We all need to know about the neglect by the health 'authorities '.
Hi, you're the first reactor I've come across who reflects my own story of relative health, who turned to an "evolutionary diet", eating REAL food with as little processing as possible, no grain or seed oils and low sugar. It cleared up my arthritis (some minor bone deformation remains but good flexibility and no pain), skin rashes, bleeding gums, mild daily headaches, oh and heart arrhythmia, all gone after 3 months. Ren sees his Paleo diet in somewhat negative terms but I think we are all suffering from modern production of highly processed food which damages our immune system by weakening the cellular structure of the gut.

I am crying. Ren keeps leading me to the perfect people. I am early in my journey, still undiagnosed. You are the first person who has ever described the symptom of being "allergic to the cold" and I just burst into tears. You are absolutely correct. Moving to Arizona would not help. I live in Tucson. If I get even a little cold, like walking into a highly air conditioned building from a warm day, I go into convulsions, like a seizure. Last time it happened, I was in the middle of a crowded restaurant. A/C is always cranked up here, indoors, everywhere you go. Just for fun, I have bad reactions to heat, as well, so I cannot win. It's already hitting 100s here and it's only June. Just one of the dozens of weird symptoms I have been dealing with. Listening to your story, I can totally empathize with so much of it. It happened so fast. One day, I was fine and then BOOM. Everything just started falling apart. One thing after another. Five years ago, I was a mountain bike enthusiast and was extremely active. Now, I can't walk without a cane or a walker... sometimes I can't walk at all. I'm still in that stage of the healthcare journey where no one really believes me... except the opthalmologist, of all people. He's the only one who's highly concerned. Hoping that my recently upgraded health insurance will make some doctors a little more interested in investigating. I'm struggling but, I'm not giving up. Ren honestly saved my life and he keeps leading me to people like you...who give me little glimpses into your own journey and suddenly I don't feel so alone. So many of us battling chronic illnesses have the regular, run of the mill symptoms but, we all have our own really odd symptoms, too, I think. I'm learning to deal with the pain and the loss of mobility and things like that a little better than I am dealing with the really weird symptoms that I don't see anyone else mention. Having people think that you're faking because they can't feel what you feel and the symptoms just keep getting more and more outlandish. Like, who goes into a seizure from walking down the freezer aisle of the supermarket? That's stupid, right? But, that's what happens to me. Nobody believes it until they are present when it happens. Don't even get me started on the "why are you using a wheelchair if your legs work" type of people.
I know this is rambling and I apologize. I probably won't even remember half of what I wrote here, by tomorrow. Gotta get it all out before my faulty short term memory dumps all of the thoughts that I wanted to express. Thank you for helping me get through another day, is all I really want you to take away from all of my rambling. You helped immensely just by talking about your experience. Sending the gentlest of hugs because I know how much they can hurt, even though they're the best feeling in the world. ❤
Trust me I understand. 1 day I was all active into everything and the next thing, I couldn't move. After all the treatments and everything I'm more active now after years of just work and home. But the gym helps. I stay cold have to always have a hoodie of jacket or blanket in my car and make sure my meds and epipen is with me. But once I got it in my head I'm not letting any of this beat me I was able to reclaim my old self back and get to doing what I love doing. I have my good and bad days. But over all I'll try to do my best to succeed and encourage yall to do the same. You're not alone at all. ❤️❤️🫡💯🙏❤️

I can’t express how much it means to me to see you react to this. As a “rich white boy” from an “affluent, so-cal, California” family, as Ren says in a later song, “wanna be me, huh? Grass isn’t greener.” Pain is pain, and struggles are struggles. There’s differing degrees of pain and/or struggles. But the fight to get through the bullshit and just be happy, that’s the one unifying aspect of humanity that anyone and everyone can relate to. And now……. Ren. …..
Ren, and but the way, NF, are 2 dudes that can put every negative thing I’ve ever felt onto a beat, and make my negative feel like a positive. It’s stupid how much someone writing a real life, “I’m going through this shit” type song, get smacked in media. “It’s too emotional”. “It’s too depressing.” Nah. It’s REAL. Not everything is a fucking Instagram photo of what you pretend life is. It’s refreshing AF to get artists that are like, “I got talent, but I’m gonna get real real with it. But it’s gonna be dope too”. Fuck. The music industry needs an infusion of artists like Ren, NF, Dax, Tech9, Knox Hill……. All these dudes that aren’t scared to drop BARS about real life shit, and not just rap about clubs and bitches and parties. That shit was cool in the early 2000’s, but not no more. Music historically reflects the culture and the world as a whole, and it’s time for self reflective ass music, in my opinion.

Great reaction. Ren has Lyme, which is relatively uncommon in the UK, which went misdiagnosed (mostly as psychiatric) for at least 7 years. A long medical tragedy, which developed into MCAS and a ton of organ damage, including brain.😊
I’m so glad you got treated. As a woman, I was just told it was a period-related thing. Turns out my thyroid wasn’t working at all. It took so much effort to get any treatment at all.

I am so sorry for your battles that you face. Like you I have Multiple Sclerosis, I fo not have any of you other diseases, instead I have Auto Immune thrombocytopenia, a prolapsed SVC, and an infindibular mass on my brain by the hypothalamus and pituitary stalk. I have been unable yo work since 30,though I have been fighting these since I was 14. Life gives each of us mountains to climb. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your life's struggles

In regards to Ren's chapters and his story, Chapter 6 covers the peak of his disease and chapter 7 the lengths he went to so he could heal. If you don't have the time to watch them all, I'd suggest those 2. It's inspiring.

I can relate with you about the cluster headaches. Lately I've been doing much better, since I retired a few years ago, and also on blood pressure medication. But yeah, cluster pain is a killer.

Unfortunately, Ren was misdiagnosed for many years and was given a lot of drugs that did more harm to him causing permanent damage to his body and brain because no one could figure out what was wrong with him. Hence, why at one point Ren had “Lost All Faith.”
I am so sorry you are struggling with so many illnesses. Be Thankful your doctors were able to give you a proper diagnosis and the correct medication giving you a little relief and Hope.

I had a headache for 2 years and no one believed me. More time in the ER than I can count. Then one day it just stopped. Pain migrated to my back, but was more tolerable.
I'd watched your reactions to Hi Ren and Sick Boi and then found this reaction - I listed out a bunch of tracks to consider, but having heard your experience of pain.... man, you gotta go for Seven Sins (there's a cool lyric vid he released with it). It might be the most profound and darkest exploration of pain I've ever heard and there's no two ways about it, it would resonate super hard for you given your experiences.

@FaceFamous of course, it's always comforting to know you're not alone (even though nobody going through it would wish it on anyone else). We are all stronger and wiser for going through it, at least. I've spent most of my life with several autoimmune diseases and in pain everyday like yourself, but the biggest factor keeping me going is my kids. I suggest you watch Ren's 1m subscribers video it's truly a beautiful message.
