A HUGE part of what makes your channels great is that you have both done fantastic things with equipment and techniques that are attainable, approachable and realistic to to average drone consumers and small second business guys like myself... If you both just become “Big Box” Ten Thousand dollar Commercial Drone snobs you may risk losing those of us that are in the same boat as you were just 4 months ago... Congratulations on your success and luck, but please don’t spend the next year crapping on every other drone out there that does not start at 6k... Good Luck and God Bless either way...

Hey Ken. I am so pleased for you. I love my smaller Inspire 1Pro , it also has the amazing X5 camera on board and there really is a big difference between that and my Phantom 4 Pro's camera, but when the novelty wears off of having to lug the huge case around, you will be glad you still have your Phantom. I am sure until that time, you will have the time of your life. You are a very lucky guy :-)

It certainly started because of the love, but the youtube money and commercial aerial photography keep the batteries charged I promise. And I'm in no way taking away from Ken, I'm just saying that the money don't hurt. One thing I think you should consider Ken is that a lot of traffic hit your channel cause phantom 4 owners want to see their drone and videos from their drone. I hit your channel searching for p4 vids. If I was you I'd still be first in line to get the mp2. The mp was the biggest selling drone last year and the mp2 will take next year. That's a lot of traffic verses the minimal traffic your gonna get with i2 videos. You'll start to see traffic fall off if your not flying the p4p and you will have a huge spike if you get an mp2 early and pump out some vids. Watch, you'll see I'm right.

According to DJI, it goes 58mph (94kph). I bet it goes one or two miles an hour faster with a tailwind though. My spark is supposed to go 30mph, but I’ve gotten it going 34mph with some wind. :D

TKO593 No, there are definitely drone rules set in place by the FAA that a RPIC must follow. Guide lines are not punishable by fines, yet drone rules and regulations are.
Island Ryland I said laws. Where are the penal codes for those rules. In the cases where the FAA has fined people involved self incrimination. Hard to prove transmission between the controls and craft. They can’t see the signal.
I think you're blinded by your subjective reasoning. Billy Kyle is breaking rules and uploading those videos to his channel... I guess you skipped over that part because it wasn't interesting enough to you. Penal codes vary state to state, some rules are specific to each state. However, there are federal rules in place by the FAA such as no flying in National Parks, no flying at nighttime, no flying over crowds of people, no flying over moving traffic. You need to become educated on UAS before you start talking from your heart.
The list goes on by the way... You must stay below 400 AGL, flying within VLOS, be aware of airspace classes, be a certified part 107 pilot to make money from your services... You have no idea what you're talking about.
Ken, I know this is several months later but your contribution to us is just as great. Your videos are fantastic and informative. I watch them every day. I am a new Phantom 3 Standard owner and just watching them makes me want to take to the skies every day. I'm also going for my commercial drone license! Anyways, I would say... don't be so surprised. I think the gift was well-deserved.

As a drone lover, as a guy that REALLY wants an Inspire 2 and as a somewhat recent fan of your channel, I had to watch this video. I'm not surprised that your videos were just as good and entertaining 1 year ago as they are today. You sir, are an inspiration to me and my little Mavic Air. Hoping to achieve some great things with it, so maybe, just MAYBE I one day get to afford an Inspire 2 (or 3) drone that my wife also approves :P
