I feed science diet Adult sensitive skin and stomach dry to both of my dogs. I am not married to the brand, but being a scientist by profession, I like that this food is by the numbers.

His is it possible if you could do a review of nutra nuggets. They have a website with all the information of their kibbles. I was looking at the beef and rice .. and lamb meal and rice. I’ve been trying to find reviews on it and haven’t found any. I saw them being sold at winco and really want to know if they are worth it or not.

Whats up with the new list of kibble dog food that is making dogs sick. List by judy morgan. Doctor. Iams is on the list. Blue buffalo. Taste of the wild, Hills. Its a few very popular foods on that list.
Total fear mongering and click baiting, totally devoid of fact, no food is making dogs sick. I have a practice and I see over 2k patients, they all feed different things and many of the foods on the mysterious list. None are sick from food. It’s just people trying to get attention but not one has been able to provide any actual evidence. You will not see me participate in the nonsense, not even for clicks
My puppy has diarrhea since we switched to iams puppy food. I think we need to switch to a different brand
Make sure when switching you always do so gradually. In puppies particularly you should have all cases of diarrhea examined by a vet before assuming it’s diet related as there are some serious viral and parasitic diseases that can start out as diarrhea and the sooner they are diagnosed and treated the better.
Is iams dog food good to feed?
I’m don’t rec any specific for, it’s more about understanding what is in the back and making the decision that’s right for you
Garbage made my dog sick, terrible diarrhea for over a week now.
Did you do a slow transition? Not normal to have loose stool for a week, dietary indiscretions should only last 1-2 days at most. I highly recommend seeing your vet.
@AnimalDocRea unfortunately this started at the beginning of memorial day weekend. Called my vet Tuesday morning. They said they can't get me in till next Monday. Called another vet. They will see me and my dog Friday.
I get very little sleep the last 5 nights.
Taking my dog outside for bathroom breaks roughly every 2 hours.
My dog has never been sick.
Till now.
Based on my research here online( and it's extensive)
I think she has developed colitis from either a parasite or that extremely fatty iams canned food.
Or both.
Either way. I'm about at my wits end

I've already done a 24 hour fast.
Then introduced plain white rice and boiled fat free chicken, with 2 tablespoons of pumpkin. That didn't help. Probably made things worse.
Pumpkin, although adds soluble fiber, is also a laxative. Not good if you have diarrhea. Only thing it achieved was lots of gassy yellow orange ( from the pumpkin) goo.
( no blood though)
So.. I stopped the pumpkin n rice( the rice just came out undigested)
And returned to her normal kibble and a little of her normal soft food with a over the counter anti diarrhea liquid for dogs.
( a creamy white color)
That didn't work either.
Still gassy very small movements every couple hours.
HELP ME 😆

You say it's not normal to last more than a couple days and I agree.
But the 3 different vets I've talked to said, " it could take longer, and I shoud just let it take its course"
This kinda resembles what I've seen from all my research. Many vets have conflicting views.
