Well, I understand the Chinese culture but is really hard to know some girl who don't care about if you don't have money or car or house, and How I don't have anything like that for now, I'm out. But some days ago, I was talking with a Chinese girl about this topic, and she said that not all Chinese girls have the same thought. But if you really want to have a life with her, you need to think in many things in advance, and all of that things is about money, so, you need to have money if you want a life with a Chinese girl.
A person doesn’t become wealthy by being stupid when I go out dating if I do go dating, I go Dutch, which means I pay my own. She pays her own when we actually get together if that ever happens then I expect a 50-50 corporation deal in the relationship I mean she’s going to work and she’s paying 50% of the bills at least that’s how I like it that way there’s no dispute. There’s no arguments over finances and both parties can save quiet than money in the long run.

My answer would be meh. XD At work in my work area, my co-worker got "really" close to me to ask me a question. In my head...I was like whoaaa baby girl. That's really close. Not that I really minded "her" being that close. It was just really unusual for me being a black guy. Even though we haven't officially started dating. We seem to be acting that way at work. Even though she does seem really loyal and loving. I think it is way too soon for me to have met her. I am brand new to the region I currently stay. Meaning I don't live a stable life yet, but that will definitely change in the weeks and months to come. Me and her definitely deal with a lot of drama at work that doesn't help. I guess we'll see if me and her make it to the finish line together.
And another reason I like going Duchess because this way I pay for my own, she pays for her own and if it don’t work out, hey no hard feelings no one gets hurt both parties can walk away with smiles

I like the more conservative attitude much better than the superficial American attitude, and it's a pity that these standards appear to wane in China. Also, dating to basically "just to kill time" instead of for marriage, is imho wrong, and you'll regret it when you get older, then can't find your "good husband/wife" anymore because someone else married them already.
chinese dating culture has always been more materialistic and superficial compared to western culture. As a westerner, your idea of superficiality vs conservative comes entirely from Christian morality, so why would you expect China to fulfill your ideals? Go to the philippines, armenia, or ethiopia if you want to find the values you are looking for. Chinese traditional vs modern dating is a completely different ball park to anything you are used to. And either way, dating outside your ethnicity means dating outside your ethics/morality, which is never a good idea.

But I have lived and also "dated" in China, and also some idea about how it should be in the Philippines, and I hold it's not that different: Marriage has traditionally been a way to ensure that women, and also society, survive, without forcing the women into the "workforce", where the smallest economic unity was usually the family. Romance was at best a by-product, but usually not at the core of a marriage. At least currently, the Philippines appear to be pretty contaminated with "Western values" to me, but Westernization is unfortunately seeping into China as well.
