Beautiful area! A little free advice. Get yourself some good hiking shoes!!!! Before you break your ankle and have to give up hiking and other fun things. I speak from three years of ankle reconstruction surgery and missing a bunch of life. Flip-flops are great in the RV, shower, or on the way to bed. Never outside hiking.
Hi Russel, I agree with you... After living in Hawaii for 16 years its just so hard for me to let go of my sockless-slippah ways. Hopefully I learn before I end up learning the hard way.
I have watched a few of your videos and they are always inspirational. Some of the visited locations are really awesome. One odd thing I noticed is that you guys don’t seem to visit any of the local towns. The bottom line is that I really wish I had an Airstream!
We do visit local towns, although a lot of the time it just doesnt make it into the videos. We're limited by how much time we have to even edit these videos. Our other limiting factor is we always have to stay in RV parks in areas with good cell service because I need reliable internet for work. So we can't visit more remote type places or go boondocking.

We also figured that the very act of making / keeping a journal - a video one in this case - will also help us appreciate it more as we experience it.

I don't think its something to be overly concerned about - probably a lot of other riskier factors in living life... like crossing the street. But I'm by no means an expert. Probably the first TH-cam vid I've ever seen where music was enjoyable along with visual. Just wondering, another popular RV channel had their comment section axed (not asked) because they have childruns that was in the LJMJ video. I mean "What's up with that?"
