Great video and enjoy your channel. We liked so much about the Black Hills area. Our favorite was probably paddle boarding on Sylvan Lake, although Mount Rushmore and Needles Highway are both amazing. Safe travels and keep up the great content. John and Bev
Hey welcome John and Bev. Sylvan lake is AMAZING!!!! Thanks so much for your comments. PS - We just sub'd to your channel as #999. One more for you to reach the coveted 1,000. All the best. Norm & Kim
Spearfish Canyon in the northern hills with the limestone cliffs, waterfalls, hiking trails, and beautiful scenic drive along the Spearfish creek is a must see!
I’m glad we’re not the only one who see orange caution barriers in the middle of nowhere as an invitation to explore. Kim’s story about her childhood mining memories was super cool too. The train ride looked fun - we’ve never done one but it’s certainly a unique way to travel. And as Norm said, when you don’t have to drive you can just sit back and enjoy the scenery! Another awesome video friends, stay warm out there! 😀 Aaron & Nicole
When I found out I was going to become a Nana I saved for 10 years & took my Grand daughter to Custer State Park for my 60th bday. We spent 10 days & took in everything: 1880 Train, Helicopter over Mt Rushmore, both caves, Crazy Horse, Blue Bell Cookout, Trail Riding, Wild Horse Sanctuary, Purple Pig Pie Shop in Custer, Hill City, and spent Memorial Day with the veterans at Mount Rushmore. Everyday we left our Blue Bell cabin & traveled the Wild Life Loop to our adventures. I immediately started saving again for her Graduation & my official retirement year. Camping is on our next agenda. The Black Hills are the best adventures ever! Enjoy yourselves!
Awesome video! Love the drone views! Your videos are superbly done! Very professional like! I’m always looking forward to the next one! Thank you!! Stay well!!🤗🤗
Stopped by and checked out your channel, Signed up to see your Adventures....Your plans is what we wanted to do. Travel up through Oregon and Washington coast. We where in South dakota for 45 days back I July and August. Travel safe.
Oh my gosh...I want to go rock hounding there!! The quartz was very intriguing. I need to put your camping spot on my list. Would also love to do the train ride.
With airline tickets being so cheap, we have taken several trips this year. One was to Alaska where we took the train from Anchorage to Seward, then a boat to see the Fiords. The train ride was awesome. Lot's of gorgeous back country and glaciers you don't see from the road. Well worth it! My wife now wants to do the train to Denali.
Oh this is awesome. We have never been there before thank you for taking us along for the ride and sharing your adventure. We look forward to seeing more of yalls adventures. - Jay & Jessica -
Amazing 🤩 Devils Tower. Beautiful park. Hope you feeling better Norm. Black Hill looks like an awesome place to venture to. Great drone footage. Love the old fashion ‘Iron Horse’. 🚂 That mine shaft looks dangerous and can’t believe it they haven’t put a grate over it. Norm be careful you might be left behind if you go down there 😂 love the forest 🌳 beautiful 😻. Looks like some future mining is to take place. A great adventure. Thank you 🙏🏽 for sharing. It was such an amazing place. We can't wait to return and explore some more. We have a couple more videos still to edit and release on our stay in that area.
Agree with you on Devils Tower. Took my husband last year in August through north and South Dakota and back through Montana and Idaho to Sandpoint before heading back to Calgary. He has hardly seen the states. Want to take him back to see Yellowstone
Beautiful videography. We’re looking forward to a couple of weeks in the South Dakota Black Hills next year. We’re not quite set up to boondock yet, but your videos inspire us to do it soon. When you came up on that mine, I was reminded of the movie Charged, The Eduardo Garcia Story. He was out hiking and couldn’t resist investigating something he came upon either. It’s a great story with breathtaking Montana scenery. I held my breath as you walked up to that mine! Thank you for sharing.
