Be careful around Bull shoals damn. My grandpa moves docks around there and the friggin CORE of Engineers has the lake 3 feet from going over the damn and the crappie are not doing good at all with the water 20 feet high. Other than that I love that area with all my heart and if I could I would spend all my life just exploring those creeks and trekking through those woods looking for turkey
