The highest compliment I can give to a fly fishing video is that it makes me start frantically planning a fishing trip. So I guess I'll be in Arkansas next spring.
I'm so tired of fishing a tailwater. Little Red River. It's changed quite a bit since I started fly fishing it in the early '70s. The floods have smoothed the riverbed. Heavy didimo in many of it's shoals. Traffic. I'm thinking of moving to Mountain Home to live close to the White, and, more importantly, to be close to the spring-fed streams in the Missouri Ozarks.
Thanks! Most of the cool hatch footage was taken Late May/Early June of 2022, but it varies year to year. Mid May is generally considered the start of the caddis hatch.
Unfortunately the song is not on the major music streaming apps. but here it is on the website that I got it from. artlist.io/song/54140/foot-chase-hoe-down
Gets me fired up. I'll see you on the river boys.
This video is the most badass creation I have ever seen on the internet. Very nice work.
Thanks Harris . Great job. My San Juan N.M. buddy who taught me how to fly fish is flying here to join up in May . Kind of of a pay back.
Stunning......outstanding production!!!

Great work. Excellent choice of music too.
Camera work, editing and overall cinematic quality is top notch. One of the best I’ve seen on TH-cam. Keep up the great work.
As someone who lives here, I have to watch this every year right before the caddis hatch....it's so epic!
