The loan saved me. I built up some credit score early with wood and patates. On armageddon start 3 i vastly underestimated the effort required to dig into the big coal deposit. I was out of coal entirely and built way too big. Took out the max amount of coal for a 30year loan. Took 8 years to dig through to the coal, and the loan let me live long enough to get there (along with consistent quick trades). Fascinating map too. Start 3 looked like easy endless coal, never expected this to be challenge :D
Another question, your tip 23 about the rock mine, that is awesome... is that why you have such a huge island? You were able to import more rock to then expand your island? Thanks, I did not know about that.
yes you can import rock forever + the map had a lot of mountains which I destroyed and dumped into the ocean :) I have a full let's play from start to finish on that island if you want to check it out - th-cam.com/play/PLtojT0_Ei74Cq34Io4TwL4uUivh4z75RV.html
@@GamerConsultant Yes there are others, such as: - with a balancer, if you give priority to entry or exit, check the type of incoming and outgoing conveyors because they can influence this priority - for mining, prefer to dig horizontally first I'll give you the others on discord when I play again
I really appreciated your video and it was helpful.. But DAYUM... you were talking like a chipmuck drinking starbucks my man... WOW... Very true - loans can be powerful like that
Really great video man. I know others said you talk too fast... But i appreciated the speed on introducing so many mechanics
thanks a lot for the comment - yes it was a bit too fast but I also didn't want the video to be 40 min :)

Talk slower. At .75 I can understand you but remember many can't be bothered to change the speed or don't know how to.
thanks for the feedback - I tried something and won't do it again I think :)
