When developers gets to start using that Unreal 5 engine thats when we will see the true Next gen. The new Xbox and PS are one hell of a console and a great price for what we get. Also November is gonna be one hell of a month for the gaming community.

This version of the game was EXCLUSIVELY made for next gen. I get what you're saying though, I do feel like mostly all of these games that are about to come out for next gen were made with current gen in mind as well. The best graphics of these consoles won't be seen until years to come. For example, look how good the last of us 2/ rdr2 look compared o games at the beginning at the ps4's life.

You couldn't be more wrong . The upgrades are huge. It would cost around 1500 , or more from a pc to get the same performance. From the GPU, Memory it is significant.

The funniest thing about the majority of gamers is they would care alot about graphics yet they will have a tv generations old. If you don't have a 4k tv with a good soundbar with surroundings speaker you not going to experience the way the game should be played.

Next to make it more realistic would to fix the physics engine. The way they turn so quick and the net swishes up even if the ball just slowly drops in is one of the only things making it a bit unrealistic. I think that’s the best next step
Need to see more game comparisons. As for now, one could argue that the reason for this huge difference is that they are using completely different models in the PS5 2k 21 than the PS4 version. Case in point; what they did with the models for Peter Parker in Spiderman Remastered. That was a flat out change in character model, but at least the rest of the games is a better comparison; as the difference is mainly frame rate, loading time and lighting; aside from that the Spiderman game looks the same.

I see that there's a huge difference between the consoles
I feel that companies may willingly make games look worse & perform with lags on current gen to make people go towards next gen.
Remember cross gen titles like Dragon Age Inquisition & how poorly they performed on PS3 even though PS3 ran games like The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid V so well.
Meanwhile in Australia the pricing is madness; AC Valhalla ps4-$69 Cyberpunk ps4-$79 Miles Morales ps4-$79 Miles Morales ps5-$94 MM ultimate
edition ps5-$124 Demons souls ps5-$124. There's also the difference in physical and digital price- AC Valhalla physical-$69 AC Valhalla digital-$99.
you haven’t mention the amount of details they put to the audience. they have such interactive and realustic reactions and the way some of them are idle and some are not. that’s a leap right there

The difference is even bigger when comparing between 2k14 and 2k21 which would be more fair comparison, as both are at a beginning of each cycle.

I played EA Cricket 07 , the people were only colour spots which used to oscillate after a wicket or boundary.

I believe so far they didnt put a lot of work on the current gen consoles to make a point about the newer versions of the new consoles. C;mon. Looks so blurry
I genuinely believe that 2k tweaks every new generational game they put out to look better in the trailer than in game. 2k14 had those stadium lights.
Next to make it more realistic would to fix the physics engine. The way they turn so quick and the net swishes up even if the ball just slowly drops in is one of the only things making it a bit unrealistic. I think that’s the best next step

We don't see that jump in generations like from psone to ps2 or even ps2 to ps3 , those were huge differences

Need to see more game comparisons. As for now, one could argue that the reason for this huge difference is that they are using completely different models in the PS5 2k 21 than the PS4 version. Case in point; what they did with the models for Peter Parker in Spiderman Remastered. That was a flat out change in character model, but at least the rest of the games is a better comparison; as the difference is mainly frame rate, loading time and lighting; aside from that the Spiderman game looks the same.
Why not run it VS a ps4 pro model?
i think if these yearly games went down to 2 or 3 games per generation i think they'd be more worth getting.
