Great CS collection part 2. I Really like that Ultimate Hunter and it is easy to find if dropped on the ground. I like the snaggle tooth mod ! That is a big collection and wow that Giant Espada !

This is one of your most awesome and Epic videos to date. I concur with your feelings on the 4 Max. if I had the finances and anything else of value I would have a larger collection myself. Truly one of the best designed knives ever. In fact anytime I have an itch to buy a new knife I just pick up my 4 Max and it strengthens my resolve to save up for either a trip to Blade show, Texas, or a Custom Knife made by Lord Demko himself

I enjoyed this video immensely! Pretty sure I heard angels singing when you opened up the Espada XL towards the end. This makes me glad I opted to order some Cold Steel stuff before their extended Christmas sales ends on the 31st! Now you have me seriously wanting an Espada XL.....and a Talwar...and another 4Max....and....

@@Jimislash I wanted to stop cause I had things to do but I cold not ;-) I would like to get a Voyager but I am not sure in L or XL and of course I like to try that new AUS 10 steel. So I am very much in the market for a Cold Steel. I like that Crawford 1 too, think it would see a lot of use. Next time I am in the US visiting my family there I might pick one up. Here in Europe the prices are way higher and some products not even available (yet).
The XL Voyager is a great way to get into the huge Cold Steel knives. But the L are great for everyday use and edc.

Wow Jimislash, that was something man. It just kept going and going. Then there was the Grand-4-Max-Finale. It begged belief. Man, I can't count that high. And all those different scales. How do you do it? That was some amazing stuff. You got to get out the calculator or the Excel Spreadsheet and sum up the Cold Steel edge length you've got. What will it be? At least ten feet. Now I want to check out your Part 1.

Ahhhh, the scimitar spike! My most recent search. I have all versions of the spike EXCEPT the one I want most, the scimitar. Have yet to find a decent one at a price I'm willing to pay. Love my talon too, but mine's not serrated.

I wondered who was keeping Cold Steel Knives in business apart from me...now I know!! Damn, you have a few more than me, I do have the 6" aluminium Ti-Lite though, and the tiger claw karambit folder, and the custom Pendelton in san mai 3, and the trail master san mai 3. Of course a collection of the custom Espada's and the amazing and incredible 4Max (Italian version), but you have 8 4Maxs...f*****g 8!!!! Which makes me envious and jealous in the extreme, so I'm going to pour a couple beers, 3 shots of whiskey and sit in the corner facing the wall and sulk. :((

I was looking at the code4 today in a plain tanto. I hesitate when I see metal handle scales. I live in Alaska I worry they will not be great in the winter. Is it slippery?
I find it a bit slippery. It's a great knife, but I'd rather have the Recon 1 Tanto, for slippery conditions.

Jimi, in your opinion what's the best Demko knife that's somewhat available? You've sold me on them
AD10. If you can get your hands on one of them, that is the best, semi-available Demko. You can find one about once every 6 weeks or so for sale. If you go looking, and let it be known that you are looking, you can probably find one quicker. If you don't want to wait, then the AD20 is pretty awesome.

How do you tell the different generations of the 4 Max apart?
The Gen 1's are easy. They are tan with the dogleg in the lockbar. The others, I just remember.
@@Jimislash Can you tell the other gens apart w/o disassembling them? I just got one & im trying to figure out what gen it is.
I know my Gen 2's, because I sent them in to have them fixed. The Gen 3's are a little bit better on the fit and finish on the scales, but that's about it. They are hard to tell apart.

Cold steel on a frozen day. That video was great. It was much better than the first State of Collection video. I really enjoyed it and especially liked hearing what each knife was. I don't know if it ran longer but if it did it didn't seem to. That was excellent and a lot of fun to watch. Now I need to see what my Xl Espada is and my Espada medium.

Why does everyone bad mouth the Pro Lites? I've got one and it's been great and holds a good edge even after a lot of card board cutting. It's just a solid, affordable working knife for me.
I love the Pro Lite. I don't know why folks bad mouth it.

@@Jimislash Awesome!! Ive got two of the XL CTS XHP models. One to use on camping trips as a kitchen knife and one to put in a get home bag. Wait till you mess with it. It's my new favorite of the BIG CS knives. Previously it was my XL Recon clip point in XHP.... but dude, the big Holdout is freakin crazy. Crazy sharp. Big beautiful full flat grind that tapers down to this insanly sharp point... I love it. I picked them up on a closeout sale for $80 each!! They others were all on sale for $160, but the FDE version with DLC blade was for some crazy reason half that sale price. Unreal. You'll have to do a review when you get it, be cool to get your thoughts.
