Ladder question: At which step of the ladder (step ladder) does someone tend to start losing their balance? Does a taller ladder give you more stability (feeling like you’re going to fall off)?
How wide is the base it's up?
In your video how high from the floor is the ceiling fan? I am trying to get to a chandelier that is about 16-17 feet up and wasn't sure if the 12ft would be tall enough.
When I get home, I will measure that for you. I think the peak where the fan is hanging from is 22ft. So it’s probably around 18ft if I had to make a guess.
there is a 14ft yellow platform ladder we use now a days it reaches 18-19ft on a platform which is pretty comfortable. im 5'5" so I would have to stand on the do not stand spot on this 12ft to reach 16-17ft up
That ladder is huge lol would be super handy to have around though 👍
It is a little overkill but still have to stand at the top of it to work on my fan! It will be awesome for my Xmas tree this year!!
Thanks for the video. I might have missed it, but how much does it weigh? Can you move it around yourself or does it take 2 people? Last point, not sure if the Werner podium ladders were out when you made this video, but the 12 foot podium ladder is a lot safer and much more functional.
It’s HEAVY! It weighs more than a 24’ fiberglass extension ladder. It can be moved with one person but you better be strong! 2 people makes it a lot easier
How the heck do I store this?
Good luck. I store mine on its side, hanging from the wall in my shop. It’s very heavy and a pain
i started working on ladders and the 12ft is high!
