Lol I love it I first thought it was going to just be the first units when you said "it's not always about putting in more units in!" then wow! When you turned the camera round wow It's a massive collection Coodos to you my friend just awesome 👍👍
Eeeeeeek.. I'm sitting here smiling ear to ear squealing like a 13 year old girl.. 😍 I'm a crazy Duran Duran fan and the minute you said you had a section of Duran i was like oh yeah this is my guy! And the Arcadia So Red the Rose on the wall.. Just Awesome! Thanks for showing us all your collection and your passion.. Us collectors get it! And if I ever make it back up to Canada I would love to come see you DJ! I follow Duran Duran 10 months a year to every show to this day and we always ends up in Canada.. 👍🎶🎵
awesome territory! fantastic to have a wife as cool as that. my wife is into alot of the stuff im into. I wish I would've known about your channel before. I would've love to have had the chance of getting some of those records you were selling.
I also have the blue depeche mode cd box in the right upper corner of the black rack. The singles 81>98. I love this box. You have a awesome collection. Sorry for my bad English, i live in the Netherlands/Dutch.
Looks killer man .. I'm actually waiting on a few more components and a little more ambition to do mine .. I prefer to store lps face first and I'm trying to find a new shelve so I'm able to do so. Fun video nice gear too
david!!!!!!! absolutely beautiful music room tour i really love everything i saw, very inspiring. wheres the KISS? i was expecting a huge shrine!!!! haha that is so sweet of your wife to do that for you. i hope when i get married my wife is as dedicated as she is! beautiful depeche mode collection take good care and hope to chat soon
Yeah the metal section should have a clean up soon and weed through stuff I don't listen to anymore but weeding through and pulling stuff isn't my strong suit as you can tell :)
Catching up on some of your videos since I just found your channel and this room is killer! All the way down to the Fonzie and Shaun of the Dead figures. Awesome.
8:08 one of my favourites right there, A-ha. they are one of the few bands in the whole world (for me) that have sooo many goooood songs. im soo glad so see an american having some stuff from em, i really love the hunting high album, their second and a-ha Minor Earth Major Sky. i actually prefer their 00s songs most, Lifelines, summer moved on, Velvet, Foot on the mountain etc, but i gotta love their rock n roll stuff, like I`ve been loosing u. bless u
Killer setup, a true music fan's bunker...26 boxes though, a lot of work involved in this collecting music thing isn't there! I like how you have your CD's organized too, I have struggled with those, never came across any shelves in more recent times that work well. Right now I have mine in these Rubbermaid drawer boxes which fit the CD's perfectly so you can pull out a drawer and browse the spines - functionality is great but visually they look kind of junky, I need to find some sort of shelf where I can stack and display them better. Cheers!
Fat City Vinyl I wish these cd shelves were sold still. It's much the reason why so many of my CDs are in storage. Thanks for the kind words, my music room is my safe place :)
How is it I never sawthis video yet? I had no idea you were such a Depeche fan. They have been my favorite since i was a kid. Seen them live 5 times and met them back in the mid 90,s before Alan Wilder left the band.
Hey David. What would you do if any of the vinyl records you play you notice some skipping on any of your vinyl record albums & no matter how hard you try you can't get the record album to not be skipping while it's playing? :) What would you do about that particular record album after that? :)
Very cool I love Depeche Mode as well I thought I had a lot of Depeche Mode I did sell off a lot of the older singles and I don't own the first 2 LPS but I have quite a bit I was thinking of making a video I have a lot of the other stuff except for sounds of the universe I bought a really nice UK press but I sold it on eBay to me it wasn't very good anyway you're very lucky to have all that memorabilia and so many records but as you know it's lots of work thanks again for sharing enjoy your video
Hey David, I really enjoyed this tour; my jaw hit the ground when you revealed how many LP's you have 😱. Wow! Hey you mentioned fixing up record players & gifting them; have you ever messed around with Pioneer quartz drive decks?? My sister has "lucked up" on a PL-640 but it needs a cartridge... If you have any tips you can share, I'd really appreciate it man... I am really diggin' you channel btw
Very nice setup but I have just one critique and it's more of a personal peeve. The right hand speaker as you watch the vid is blocking the shelves of records. I assume you just move the speaker to get to the records but to me it's in the way. Other than that, awesome room. Now for a question, does the Marantz receiver have 2 phono inputs or are or do you have pre-amps tucked away somewhere?
Lance Van Pietersom The rack that the speaker blocks, I don't need to access that area often as it's 12" singles I use for DJing so I really only need to access that area every now and again so not really an issue for me to be honest. The Marantz has a built in pre-amp so no need for an external one. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it :)
Dave Poole one is the box set for the self titled release, first one with Todd on vocals and other of complete cd discography with bonus cd rom that was originally issued for The Promised Land. Cheers and thanks for watching
cootaloot the speakers are Canadian built and I got them at cost as they were very overpriced at the time. Nuance they were called and good speakers for what I paid but retail price were inflated.
I like Canadian speakers for the most part. I've no experience with Nuance but have owned four or five different PSB models and heard a couple of Paradigm models. Love the Marantz 6200 and wish I'd bought one when they were more affordable.
@@natichan16 People are free to dislike anything, but what's the point? A difference of opinion is one thing. Maybe it is just people don't like the choice of music? I have no idea. You need to sell half of those cds and records and get yourself a High End system would be more beneficial than having records ya dont listen to sitting on the shelves .
They are Canadian made Nuance and model number escapes me. I used to work for the store that sold them locally and got them at cost but like I was telling someone else who commented, they are really good speakers but sold at an incredibly inflated price so they have a bit of a bad reputation.
Lovely room, nice to hear you not only have a great music room but a very special person who cherishes not only you but your passion for music
Lol I love it I first thought it was going to just be the first units when you said "it's not always about putting in more units in!" then wow! When you turned the camera round wow It's a massive collection Coodos to you my friend just awesome 👍👍

very nice, only one thing missing, a cocktail cabinet,
Wow that's all I can say Wow !😳thanks
Wow! You have a nice music room!
AZ Mick Thank you! Very nice of you to say :)
Always remember never ever stack vinyl and CDs to the ceiling especially living in California like I do. Bad for your health (from 976-CREOLEMAN)!

Great looking media room... an update soon?
I have a new house now and new music room from the one in this video. I’ll have to make an updated video of this one soon :)
Nazz Nomad I thought your media room looked a little different.. would love to see in a video.... Regards
Great room tour. I am a huge autograph collector as well.
Judging by the Canadian Tire boxes, you must live somewhere in Canada, where are ya man?
nice, nice, nice 😎
SPEAKERS???

4:25 where Can I buy these?
New room tour! Please!
make a vid on your duran duran and depeche mode records!
is there a interface box, for switching between different turntables?
Stephen Scott I never have 2 going at same time so when I wanna give main one a rest , just unplug and plug in backup. I should look into that though.
If you ever need help emptying those 26 boxes... ;) Or maybe you have done already? Or, more likely, maybe there are now more than 26 of them!
Oh I still have them :)
Thank you to the 2 people who dislike my music room :)
U gotta understand that some people may have other opinions than you and they are free to dislike if they dont like ur room
All good.

What brand are the speakers?
I don’t remember as I’ve had several since this video. I’m filming a new room tour video ASAP and I’ll make mention of speakers I have now
Speakers?
Those speakers are gone now. I’m using a set of Polk audio towers now and PSB sun and centre channel
Thanks!
ol;e school luv it
Wow I thought I had a problem, I'll be showing my wife this video when she starts whining at me about my collection.
Crazy prayingmantis That's good idea!
You need to sell half of those cds and records and get yourself a High End system would be more beneficial than having records ya dont listen to sitting on the shelves .
Omg have the same receiver from marantz
You never said what the speakers are ?
