  • After weeks of hands-on experience with Creality Print 5, I've encountered some significant issues you need to know about. In this video, I'll delve into the most crucial problems with the new Creality Slicer software and explain why this slicer, based on Orca Slicer, may not be fully ready for end users yet.
Let's discuss filament profiles, bed leveling, and many other problems I've faced in the last few weeks using Creality Print 5 and compare it to Creality Print 4, Orca Slicer, and even Cura Slicer.

In orca you also have an option to use the device tab to get into the “web” interface of K1 Max, simply put the ip address of your machine in the printer profile click test ignore the error and click on the device tab in Orca.

After having multiple issues with Creality Print 5 I finally went back to CP4. I'm confident that Creality will eventually get Version 5 working properly, but for now I'm more interested in the consistent prints I'm getting out of the latest release of Creality Print 4.

So far... nice interface but pretty poor implementation.

You're English is pretty good for a Portuguese native (I loved the video where you used an AI video app to translate your Portuguese into English), so correcting a small grammatical error in the title of this video is not meant to be critical. So, rather than saying "...and it doesn't worth your time", you should say something like: "...and it was basically a waste of my time", or "...and, IMHO, it's not ready for consumer release", or "...and I found it to be a bit buggy".

The only thing I've found that Creality 5 does that Orca doesn't have or exceed with newer versions is that it can start up the "lidar" thing. I don't even run my K1 with it anymore. Manual calibration is better results and the weight reduction helps a bit

I also had issue with applying supports to a print. I had forgotten to uncheck supports and sliced my file. I then was like I didn’t want supports and unchecked it and sliced it again and still had supports. No matter what I did I couldn’t get the supports to go away. I ended up having to remove the model and bring it back in then slice it again. I also do not like that there is no longer an option to calibrate before a print starts.
