Faster 3D Printing: Testing the 0.8mm Nozzle | More Output in Less Time
If you're looking for ways to speed up your 3D prints and boost your productivity, this video is for you! I'll walk you through all the details of my tests comparing the 0.4mm nozzle with the 0.8mm one and show you how switching to a 0.8mm nozzle can significantly speed up your printing process, allowing you to produce more 3D parts in less time. The benefits of using a 0.8 mm nozzle are clear and compelling, transforming your 3D printing efficiency and taking your productivity to the next level. Plus, it can even increase your revenue with 3D printing.
We'll break down the differences in print quality, output, and production time with surprising results. Using Creality's Hyper PLA filament to ensure consistent and relevant testing, our tests were done on the FlashForge 5M Pro. The findings apply to the K1, K1 Max, Ender, BambuLab A1, P1S, X1C, and any printer that supports both 0.4mm and 0.8mm nozzles, giving you a complete understanding of the potential benefits.
Watch now to find out how to boost your productivity and speed up your prints, and take advantage of our tips to get the most out of your 3D printing setup!

    0.8 is copium, buy a faster printer and print with speed and low layer height and if you want the strength of 0.8 add a perimeter or two.

    • @freedomofmotion
      @freedomofmotion 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No need for that even, if you can handle the flow rate set inner walls to be wider, no need for extra walls. 0.64 works nicely from most modern printers. 0.8 is possible with some print heads and cht nozzles. I also often do infill thicker lines as well outer walls and top layers are standard width for quality.

    Agreed for the most part, but I don't need a printer to be any more precise than is needed for articulated model, so I don't calibrate filaments at all on my P1S and haven't had a single bad result in a year of printing except when I use wet filament (it happens). It's just astonishing how that thing was nailing perfect layers out of the box on cheap filaments using stock profiles. I use mainly PETG and some PLA when I'm doing multi-color, but also TPU, ABS, ASA and PETG-CF.

    • @InventorsGarage
      @InventorsGarage 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      As I said, X1C, P1S, P1P or even an A1 worth the investment and save your time when using it to make money with 3D Print. P1S is so good as X1C.

    Question: What's your network and data security worth?

    • @InventorsGarage
      @InventorsGarage วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well actually any smart devices including a simple smart lamp can scan your network or even provide hidden backdoors to allow people connecting to your network, the only way to be really safe if not to connect to your main network, in my case I have a dedicated wi-fi AP only for 3D printers, all of them doesn't matter the brand or if it is open source or proprietary. I never had any problem, but prevention is always better than regrets ;)

      He's saying buy it. It's more reliable and more convenient than any other non-Bambu printer out there. He also says if you can't spend the $1,400, then get the P1S or the A1 with AMS which gives you the same capabilities for less money.

    • @Immolate62
      @Immolate62 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Dozr24 no it isn't. That's pure BS. Every part of the Bambu printer is replaceable, and some of them will fail by the 6k mark, but that's a year and a half of printing all day, every day (500 days @ 12 hours per day). You wish you could get that out of any other printer other than a Prusa which costs more for the same thing.

    DO NOT UPGRADE to 5.1, on top of all being said in this video. it doesn't work i had 4.3 and it worked perfect with stl files and 5.1 doesn't even work with them.

      I don't know what version you downloaded, but even the bugged 5.0 work with STL files. I recommend you to download the latest version directly from the Creality web page

      @@InventorsGarage well if you keep my unexperienced noob remark its your choice. but to my defence ill say I'm a total noob and I didn't know better at that time. of this comment I just tried this upgrade and couldn't get anything to work and I was kinda bumbed out. so my apologies. however if you're a noob like me and feel the same way please give it time and don't be impulsive like me ...

    Awesome video with great info. Gonna take a shot at calibrating my printer following your instructions. Also the “AI” translation is quite good for what it is.
