Biggest issue with BFG KO2 was aqua planning or lack of grip on wet bitumen. This wasn't tested or discussed in test. Perhaps known as issue so not mentioned in unbiased 'test'. KO3's on wet roads will truly show if they have improved.
You can go up that track with 3/4's of the tyer brands out there . As for water crossing and mud the same . Not saying these are bad . Just not that hard a challenge.
Just why I cant find an honest reviev on these tires, we are doing a lot offroading in work, and Im looking for comparision is it worth going to KO3 but all I get here is no usefull information, and every other video about that tires is like that, Im kinda pissed off. I can grasp that KO3 is propably going to be better on wet tarmac but is it at the expense of off-road driving or not?
You guys failed on the first test by automatically putting the KO2’s at 10psi. Thats the furthest thing from a real test. Might want to change the title of your video.
@ Had tire balancing issues, after multiple balances, took tires off rims to find powder like rubber inside them… tire was coming appart on the inside… nothing visible outside with 80% tread…
Hope to see your thoughts on the new NITTO Terra Grappler G3 as it did very well in this review th-cam.com/video/BCW5IXY_rIM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4K1V5qXayfd096cD

we didn't have any wet rainy roads when filming.. we will be giving them a shot on some wet bitumen soon.
Loathe KO2’s for the same exact reason. Not seeing the KO3’s as different.
@ keep an eyes out for our braking test when we get some rain

I love Maxxis AT-811.
Those were the noisiest, vibrating mpg killing tire I’ve ever had. I would never touch another set lol
Was really looking forward to differences btwn the two, ended up watching a fun video with little to nothing about the subject
This video was more about our experience with these tires, we’ll be digging deeper into those specific differences in the future.
Great video guys can you post what side wall patch you used on that KO two pretty impressive with that big of a sidewall breach
@@lastspartan the Lads at ARB Hobart made that all happen, will find out. Merry Christmas!!
Is it a tire review or an explanation for all types of terrain..
Demonstration of shit 4x4s

I've noticed that all tires perform better when the steering wheel is on the correct side of the vehicle. Cheers!
That's a good point, we should probably test those! Currently in the USA myself and its a trip..

Thanks for your feedback, however we tested from the lowest possible to the highest PSI.. this is why we did this.
WHY IS THERE SO MUCH TALKING SHOW US THE TIRE PERFORMANCE
What size were the tyres?
285/70R17
It is going to be hard to choose between the KO3 and Baja Boss.
Baja boss
I had ko2's for decades. Just went to Baja Boss AT's and love them. Haven't tried the 3's yet
Had ko’s and they were garbage, had ko2’s and they were garbage… fool me twice, shame on me.
Both my sets dry rotted from the inside out…
Never again…
I have been driving on them now on the road since we had them out and have had no issues, never heard of a tyre rotting out? you live dry desert area?
