Thank you for showing how you do things. Using the Dremel sander for the curve is something I will do.
great ring love the double bands
That came out really nice. Mind sharing what you used for the finish? Ive tried a couple different epoxies but they all wear off after a few months.
I am looing for a good epoxy - have you found something yet?
@@thezuricollection1332 unfortunately no.
@@joshuaplank883 Have you tried the CA glue finish method yet? It holds up better than epoxy in my opinion if applied thoroughly and doesn't get cloudy like epoxy/resin sometimes can. Also if you shower or wash dishes with your ring on it will tarnish almost any finish alot quicker

Beautiful. 24k gold wire would be awesome also.
Bloody awesome, Brother. I look forward to making something similar myself very soon!
Looks great and I like to try to make a ring like that . What are you coating the ring with? it looks like it is UV activated amd I correct about that?
Gracias
Hello, awesome work. May i ask about the laquer at the end? Is it some kind of UV glue? Thanks.
Hey yes it is a resin that cures with UV light. There's heaps of types you can buy online
@@hjkrings9976 Thanks for the info and about the wire... Seems easy on a video, but was quite a chore when i tried th at first... Superglue did not work... wire was not smooth... oh well, good experience still. :)
Awesome video, im a youtube ring maker also, that ring is awesome, is the clear alumi uv, if so how do you like it? Keep up the Rad work
Hey yes it is Alumi UV. I like it, it's very strong. Gotta make sure it goes on as smooth as possible or there's alot of sanding to do ✌ personally I rather it over a CA finish. What do you use?
@@hjkrings9976 I usually use ca, but i would like to try the alumi uv, ca is just easy and cheap lol and i just make rings for fun
@@ACDesignsGarage Yeah give it a go you might prefer it, it's also pretty cheap! 👍👍
@@hjkrings9976 awesome thanks for the info!!!!!
Outstanding work!
What is the chuck you use for the lathe to attach the ring? Im looking to get one but not finding any. How are they called
The 4 jaw chuck? or the ring mandrel
Muy buen trabajo!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hey buddy. Do you mind me asking what type of lathe you are using?
what glue do you use to hold the copper in place?

Hi what is the tool called that you put in chuck to open like a rawl bt please
Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing. :)
GREAT!!! Wow!!
Great work buddy... Excellent. How do you call that piece you add to the chuck to mount the ring.?
Expanding ring mandrel
What gauge of copper wire do you use?
You didn't need to solder the ends of the ring together...? seems it might come apart....
love the look of the copper, beautiful ring! what guage wire are you using?
Thank you :) that's a 16g wire
@@hjkrings9976 thanks for that, time to expand my ring making! found suitable copper and aluminum wire, will try it shortly
What is the specific size and name of the piece you put on your drill press after the metal drill bit (the red one)
@@kianadams2666 looks to me like a hole saw about 1 to 1 1/2 inches
@stevem268 thank you
👌👌
what glue do you use to hold the copper in place? beautiful work.
Hey its just CA glue!
wondering if I should buy this or make this myself
i have a question. what are you doing on 6:41? what's role of the light?
He's curing the ring in a uv bath. The "hole" is duct tape.
@@mallory6651 thank you. one more. why curing the ring in a uv?
@@이진성-p9f I meant masking tape not duct tape lol my bad. A UV resin was used as a finish which specifically cures via UV. Youre not able to cure it fully with just sunlight. The finish protects the ring from the elements more than CA finish.
@@mallory6651 thank you so much
@@이진성-p9f no problem!

The piece you adjust at 2.11
And I oop, skskksskks
