The most beautiful detailed lecture on the subject.
Please augment with US and MRI findings.

Horrible pain and swelling in hand particularly around thumb started 3 weeks ago. crept in slow peaked by day three or four. went to emergency room doc said carpal tunnel take NSAID use splint at night to sleep see orthopedist. Sprint made hand more swollen and felt worse. found some relief with using electric tape over inside of wrist from chiropractor online. still suffering. Went to see a chiropractor at a physical therapy Outlet. she saved me. within 10 minutes she said I do not present as carpal tunnels. she isolated my pronator Terry's and provided great relief. she scraped the area between my wrist and my thumb. I had 50% Improvement by the time I left in my hand. I've been scraping, icing, heating pad, massaging the pronator Terry's muscle and attachment points to the Elbow, and doing the recommended stretches the last 2 to 3 days and I've seen significant Improvement. do not get surgery.

Hi doctor, what a bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome means? I know bi means two. I had mc4 fracture . Did my emg result mean in two hands?!
    Thanks

Five doctors and 3 months of total paralysis of thumb and index, and MRI, an EMG, and I have to finally self diagnose myself online. Thank you for the information it was helpful but it sounds as if I'm totally screwed. I just don't know if life is worth living anymore. Too much is breaking.

@@YoungLink51423 Update, 6 months after my hand went completely dead it's coming around. After finally getting the right diagnoses of Pronator Teres Syndrome (Dr.s were quite eager to do a carpal tunnel operation), and doing the daily stretching, the band exercises, ice, compression sleeves, and a massage gun. Finally a breakthrough! I can feel it, move it, no real grip yet but if this continues it should be back to normal one more month.
