I'm glad that SM always take note in technique. A lot of companies does not provide good trainers, making them always strain and force notes to sing stylishly. SM so far always got at least one member who aces in vocals, and most of the main vocals of SM are included. Even from the Grace to the youngest group Red Velvet.
Most of their better vocalists started training at SM with already decent technique tho (e.g. Wendy, Kyuhyun, Baekhyun) while, unless their name is Taemin, those who are trained from scratch don't develop their technique much (e.g. Seulgi, Changmin, Tiffany).
dallak93 you forgot Luna. Originally got in for her dancing. Jaehyun may not be great yet but he also used to be in for his visuals, rap and dancing yet debuted as a lead vocal.

If it's all not just about healthy techniques but also about well-rounded with all developed registers vocalists, I'll go with SM Holy Trinity Luna, Wendy, and Taeyeon for the win, since all of their registers are very well developed and they do singing healthily. But if we just go pure on healthy techniques despite the registers, then more or less I'll take the list.

Uji, Hyolyn, Hani, and HyunA should of stayed a group and debuted together. 😭😭😭😭 they would of been PERFECT! Especially with TWO strong vocalist in the group! Is it just because lower register alone?
I imagine Uji’s advantage in the lower register is greater than Taeyeon’s resonance advantage, and head voice is about equal. They’re really close though
A Evb lol only Wendy, Yuju, Seunghee (oh my girl) has good support and resonance in her voice. Loona girls don’t support their voice at all make they worsr than rosé from blackpink or nayeon from twice. Seunghee from clc doesn’t support her voice above A4 tho, she still weak vocally

You just have to dig in to find good performances of her because she is always out of breath. And for Haseul, it's a bit more complicated because she is z good rookie vocalist but absolutely not a main vocal material in a idol group. Nayeon and Jeongyeon are indeed underrated too. But Rosé isn't at the level of the top 3 of LOONA nor TWICE, she lacks in term of consistency, support, placement, breathing technique, and I can carry on.

Hyolyn supported vocal range: F#3~E5 ~ F#5/G5 (with head voice) Luna supported vocal range: G3/G#3~Eb5 ~ Bb5 (with head voice) Hyolyn lower register and mixed register is better than Luna but Luna is better when it comes to head voice/register. So Hyolyn > Luna

Mamamoo still has some issues to fix, like their continuous use of high notes that make them strain more than they should, but for vocalists that debuted in 2014 they are one of the better vocalists of the new generation.

Plus Ailee's well developed register which is headvoice that has much fullness and clarity with consistent resonance up to Bb5 (B5 inconsistently) than Haeri who's non existent in that upper register. And to be more specific about the different segments,then here :

Sorry, I jusy want to ask. Why Uji who has inconsistent resonance and even not optimal mix technique in c5-d5, also inconsistent head voice and only supported up to F5, rank higher than Taeyeon whom consistently resonance up to c#5, often d5 and support head voice up to f5/f#5 with resonance at times? Is it just because lower register alone?
I imagine Uji’s advantage in the lower register is greater than Taeyeon’s resonance advantage, and head voice is about equal. They’re really close though
Her lower register is excellent for a soprano and her d5s are more consistent than taeyeon. She even supports above d5 nowadays

@@jinji4609 Idk about Seunghee from clc but you are totally underestimating LOONA. Chuu has shown really good agility, placement, good pitch, some support and great control over her upper register. You just have to dig in to find good performances of her because she is always out of breath. And for Haseul, it's a bit more complicated because she is z good rookie vocalist but absolutely not a main vocal material in a idol group. Nayeon and Jeongyeon are indeed underrated too. But Rosé isn't at the level of the top 3 of LOONA nor TWICE, she lacks in term of consistency, support, placement, breathing technique, and I can carry on.

That’s because Solar, Wheein and Hwasa are above average (which is good) but every vocalist in this list is better, as they are all proficient or above that. Mamamoo still has some issues to fix, like their continuous use of high notes that make them strain more than they should, but for vocalists that debuted in 2014 they are one of the better vocalists of the new generation.
Base on vocal technique, after Raina, 11th is Yerin from 15& then followed by Wheein (12th) and Solar (13th)
